Chapter 33-Her history involves a wolf

When I get back to the house I call Kaerin.

"I need you and Sev to meet me in the forest in 10 minutes." Kaerin huffs.

what for? is something wrong?

I shake my head.

"I will tell you when you get there."

10 minutes later......

I wait in the forest, the breeze on my face making me shiver slightly. I hear twigs snap and turn my head slightly to see Severus and Kaerin trotting towards me.

what is wrong little one? Severus says. I slowly pace back and fourth.

"Well I was in the underworld, and I met a ghost, named Leo. He told me of a girl who was of a generation that included the light maidens. The original light maiden was a human, and she had a child with a one of our fathers" Out of the corner of my eye, I see Sev stiffen. I look over at him, and his golden eyes seem to be staring at me. I raise an eyebrow.

"You know something Sev?" He gives a wolfy sigh and nods.

I am the keeper of the shadow history. I know who's father and mother everyone belongs to, I know that there are quarter shadows out there, shadows like you, who have died and chosen not to live their life like a shadow. I am the keeper of shadow knowledge, and your mate plays a big part of it, along with that girl the ghost was on about.

I frown at Sev, sitting on a log.

"Care to explain maybe?" He plops down on his hind legs and begins his storey.

Once upon a time, a shadow man met a human. This human captured his Heart, his soul so to speak. They were mates. As time grew on, they had a child. Or so everyone thinks. This child had a twin. They were the world to the human and the shadow man, and as time grew on, so did they. But the shadow man didn't. The children aged differently aswell. For every human year, they aged a two years. The human knew that her children would be like this, and that one day they would live longer than her. So when she died, the shadow man couldn't bare to be with his children, as they reminded him of his wife to much. So he took one, and placed her in a human family. He made it so that everytime her parents died, she would forget that family, and continue living with the next generation of that family until she was old enough to remember. The child he placed in that family, is the girl Leo is on about. She is the daughter of the light maiden, her human mothers and grandmothers all sharing abit of her history as they were direct decendants of a light spirit from another family."
