I am jolted awake by Aeskill.
"Litla! wake up!" i get up and look around the room. I feel the first rays of the sun upon my face. I feel a warm hand on my shoulder.
"He has waited 16 years for you...and today he will have to wait a little while longer." I look at Hayden and see true love in his eyes. I look away, already feeling guilty. Aeskill walks out the door first, then me, then Hayden. I hear a low rumble that starts off far away, then gets closer and closer. It raises to the surface, and there, in black robes with hidious things behind him is Hades. Theres another rumble, and out of the earth appears something that looks human, but you can feel the power radiating off of him. He is in a child's form, about 7 or 8...but he his eyes are completely black, not iris, no whites. We watch him as he walks towards me. Hayden steps in front of me, and i peek around his shoulder to look at the creature. It looks up at Hayden.
"Please move aside." Recognised Raeli's voice in an instant. I tug in Hayden's sleeve and he moves aside cautiously. Raeli gets on one knee and bows.
"Mistress." i smile and put a hand on his shoulder. He slowly raises and looks me in the eye.
"Thank you." i whisper, he nods and stands in line with Aeskill and Hayden. I watch Hades as he smirks.
"Is this supposed to be an army?" Out if the corner of my eye i see Aeskill smirk. I lift my arms up and Feel a slight breeze pick up and become a storm of angry voices and ghosts. I see a look of surprise cross through Hades eyes but it is gone just as fast.
"And army of the dead, how ironic." He raises his arms and the earth rumbles beneath our feet, and it cracks open, and i swear, thousands upon thousands of demons crawl out of the earth, occupying the neighbourhood. I hear peoples screams and cries of help as the street around them crumbles.
"Now we can do this the hard way or the easy way. Might i just add that i would prefer the hard way." He chuckles darkly, and i feel Hayden shaking besides me.
"You will not have her! she is not yours to have!" Hayden shouts deathly deep. I feel the earth rumble beneath my feet.
"And she is neither yours, so who's is she?" I feel Hayden stop shaking, and i look up at him, and something about him is off..
"She is my mate, and you know it." I feel a warm feeling spread through me as he says those words even though i have no idea what they mean.
"Ah yes, your mate. Your other half, i wonder what you will become when she dies?" And that does it. Hayden gives a war cry, and the rest of the army gives off a cry and we charge. I slow time down and it just stops all together. All around me, ghosts and demons are being slaughtered and stomped on.
"I never wanted this for you." A female voice says. I look around and see a woman with black hair in a white dress standing 2 feet in front of me. I am confused by her words because i do not know this woman.
"Never wanted what?" The woman smiles slightly.
"I never wanted this to happen to you dear, But i know it will change. There is another part out there for you to find." I feel even more confused.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" The woman smiles sadly.
"Dear shade, i am your mother." I feel a slight squeeze in my chest as i look at this woman. I look exactly like her, from her hair to her nose.
"I never wanted this life for you or your sister, i didn't mean for him to leave-" I hold up a hand.
"Wait....I have a sister?" she nods sadly.
"You're father and I decided to separate you two at birth, so that if Hades would come, he would not get full power, only half, and he will not get any power at that." I stare at her shocked.
"You mean to say that i have a....a twin?" She nods.
"Yes, but we do not have much time, I have heard of your plan...and i must say that it is well thought out, but....when it is done, your light side, and your dark side will fight, and only one will win. " the light starts to get brighter and brighter.
"Good bye my daughter." and she is gone.
Time starts, but it is slow. But it gets faster and faster. When it is at normal pace, i find a demon sneering at me. It charges and i conjure up a light ball and throw it at the creature, making it scream and burn. I see Raeli surrounded by demons and rush at them with the knife Hayden gave me. I slice one of their arms, and they all focus on me. I hear a sort of language that makes me tingle, and then the ground is shooting up, grabbing demons by the throat and dragging them back down to the depths of hell. I look and see Victor and Zaela working their earth magic on the demons. I look around and see Hades, standing there amongst all the chaos, smiling....just smiling. I hear a rush of voices and power, and i know, that all the light maidens before me, are with me now. I don't think, i just do. I rush at Hades, and i feel as if my legs have a mind of their own. My mouth starts to speak in an old ancient language and blue light emits from everywhere and i clap my hand together, All of the blue light cackles and attacks Hades. The blue swirls with black and the blue dies down. I hear the whoosh of a cape and Hades is standing there looking smug.
"Is that all you've got?" He says boardly.
"No, we're only getting started." my voice, along with many other voices says. Hades snarls before throwing his hands out, and sending black shadow towards me. I quickly focus and feel the sheet of shadow wrap around me like a blanket, i focus on my dark side and send it back, but this time, with a hint of soul in it. I hear Hades gasp as the souls attach themselves to him and try to enter his body. He waves a hand and everything is gone.
"You will be mine sooner or later." He says angrily.
"How bout never?" Our voices say. I focus on my light side and feel all my inner strength being pulled out of me, and i aim all the light at hades. I hear demons from all around scream for mercy, and i even hear Hades roar in Pain. I feel the light fade and i drop to my knees, feeling my inner strength weaken. I hear a cry of pain that makes the voices in my head scream, and i look over and see Hayden being stabbed in the stomach. I feel hatred and anger fill me as i get to my feet and walk up behind the demon. I grab him by the back of the neck and squeeze, hearing the snap of his neck. I drop him and look at his companion and send a spell to him that makes him fall to his knees and gasp for breath, as blood pours from his eyes, ears, nose and mouth. I fall to my knees in front of Hayden, cradling his dirty face in my lap as i feel tears spring to my eyes. He opens his dark blue eyes and i smile through my tears he smiles slightly at me and winces. War is going on around us, but nothing matters more to me than him.
"Hayden i love yo-" I feel a sharp pain in my back and stomach. I slowly look down and see a spear produced from my chest. Things go blurry and i see Hayden scream as i fall sideways, and i see his beautiful face, before everything goes black.
This chapter made me cry, I didn't want her to die but it had to happen, im sorry!!
