Micam's POV
I was walked to a small part of the hideout. It was very plain compared to the rest of the cave. The floor and walls were ashy grey, and there were locker-like things lining all the walls. There was also a small brown door at the opposite side of the room. The door had a bright, silver knob on it.
"This is where personal rooms are," Palon said. "Each locker belongs to a single half demon. If it's a family, then they are connected by a door on the inside of it. It may look like a small locker, but with help from the illusionist half demons, they are as big as you want them to be. They can also be customized however you want."
"Woah," I looked at Palon. "Is it the same technology as a TARDIS?"
Palon looked at me with a strange look. "What the HELL is a TARDIS?"
My jaw dropped. "Doctor Who? The best sci-fi T.V. show EVER?!"
"Micam, that is the most human thing you've said since I've met you."
"But I am-"
"ANYWAYS, we need to talk to an illusionist half demon to help you make one of your own personal room."
Right on cue, a half demon walked in. She had crazy, emo, black hair to the point in which I couldn't really see most of her face, she had bright, emerald eyes, and a nose piercing.
"DAKOTA STOP," Palon yelled to her. "I need you if you have a chance. You free?"
The girl looked at me, then Palon, then me again, then back to Palon. "Yeah I'm free. But who the hell is this? Is THIS Micam? Cause he doesn't look like 'the MOST POWERFUL half demon SINCE LUNARSIA". He looks like such a dweeb."
"I am standing right here," I said.
"So, what is it you need, my friend?" Dakota said completely ignoring me.
"Micam, this is Dakota, Dakota a full like me, she has only been here a year longer than I have. Dakota, this is Micam." Palon explained. "And we need you to make a personal space for Micam."
"UUUGGGHHHHH fine," She looked me up and down. "Boy, once I make you your own personal space, you need some work done because this-" She gestured up and down my body. "Ain't gonna fly."
And with those words, Dakota was off making my own personal space thing. She worked faster than I thought she would, but it was great nonetheless. It looked just like the others on the outside, but what Palon said earlier about them being bigger on the inside and customizable, I was excited to see mine. But I wasn't prepared when I walked in.
Nal's POV
Merran smiled at me. "How could I forget? They are amazing members here. You're so lucky that they're your parents, Nal." Her eyes widened. "I need to go. There's humans above us, I'll catch ya later, kiddo." She ran so fast that the wind from it pushed me back a bit.
I walked around the hideout for awhile, lost in thought. I don't know why I feel so weird. I can't remember where anything is anymore; did I hit my head that hard? Mommy said it wasn't a big fall but it sure seems like it.
I saw Asleri stared with a smug look on her face. She was looking at a kid with black hair and dark red eyes. He was wearing normal clothes, has he not be initiated yet? He was walking with a girl. I wanted to follow, but I could hear daddy calling my name, quite forcefully, actually. When I got to where he was, his eyes were red and he was furious.
"WHERE have you been, Nal?!" He boomed.
My eyes widened, my daddy was disappearing in a cloud of white smoke. Everything I originally heard sounded like somebody putting a tape on rewind. All the sound was warped. Everything was blurring.
