Warning: Character Death
Sorry

The moon shined high in the sky, stars twinkling around it. Silence all around in the outside world. One could say it was peaceful. Oh, on the mountain it was anything but.

"What do you think he's been though?" Junhong, the youngest, questioned, being one of the few that had seen what the cave system was like. Yonguk was the only one to respond, Daehyun and Youngjae being off in their own world. "There is really no telling, especially with finding that journal." The younger simply nodded. It had been a long night despite the fact that it was only approaching midnight.

"You were supposed to die," Youngjae says out to the room and the other two look at him, "in the mines. I saw it. That thing took Jongup. It was supposed to kill him. And you two also." Hearts raced all throughout the room.

"How could you possibly know that. And then think that we were going to die?" Junhong asked, his voice shaking a little. Youngguk stopped the response by interrupting. "A better question is how did you see us?"

Youngjae stuttered a little not knowing what to say. "Ever since we arrived I have been seeing things. Some don't make sense and others were like I told you. I don't know how they come. It even why they do." When asked what they meant the boy could only tell them that he didn't know.

Uncertainty filled the room. They all wanted to believe that everything was okay. That they truly had their friend back, Youngjae being the least convinced. Something on that mountain wanted them to feel save. It wanted them to feel happy. Now with Youngjae's confession that happiness was up in the air.

"Daehyun" the younger whispered to get his attention. The older hummed in response. "I'm sorry." Just before he spoke again the door to the dining area slid open. Himchan entered with Jongup in tow by hand. The pair moved to sit across from the other four in the middle the four. "I figure you all have questions." He simply stated as he pushed Jongup's chair in. Youngjae moved uncomfortably in his seat. He liked nothing about this. Of course he acted like he did but he was honestly scared.

Youngjae jumped in his seat when Himchan looked straight at him. His eyes were cold and sharp as if the look could kill. His expression changed as he addressed the group. He talked about how he was taken in by a family that lives here in secret. He talked about how they taught him to survive. "I never knew that petiole could be so kind." He finished his story. And to Youngjae that is all it was. It was a simply story made up to fool them.

"So where is this family at? I mean we all came back looking for you." Yonguk raised a plausible question. They had searched this top many times and not once did they come across a family or anything that signaled there was one. "They live further down. When I fell in I wandered until I cam across an opening to the outside and not even three miles later was a small hut." He explained delicately as if he was watching his words.

"Why don't we make something to eat, relax, and get ready for tomorrow?" Jongup asked getting up from his spot and walking towards the door. Daehyun jumped up in agreement followed by Junhong who dragged Yonguk with him.

It was a stare off. A stare off between Himchan and Youngjae. Both of their expressions changed. Himcan's personality turned stone cold and serious. Youngjae almost felt cornered. He stayed with a strong expression, determined to find the truth.

"Why do you not trust me, Youngjae?" Himchan said slightly turning his head. "After all we have been through?"

"Don't you even bring that up. I don't know who you are but this isn't funny." Youngjae spit back at the other. He in response placed a hand on his chest.
