Chapter 10

Chris POV~

I watched as my mate was carried away by Liam. I was beyond pissed that my mate was mated and pregnant with another guy. I now realize how Catalina felt when I rejected her, I felt like my heart was shattered. Now I want her back, to marry me and carry my pups. So much has happened today that I just wanted to head off to bed. Maybe if I hadn't slept around and rejected her, I would be happy with my mate. No, I just had to be a stupid arrogant asshole of an alpha. I let the title go to my head and let my ego get the best of me. My wolf is starting to come back, but still is giving me the silent treatment.

Lina POV~

Liam and I just chilled for the rest of the day. After my revenge plan, my pregnancy, and my engagement, I am completely exhausted. I think Liam is too. I decided to take a 2 hour nap before dinner with Carmen and John and Liam's sister. I am nervous about meeting his sister though. As I get ready, I look at my slight baby bump in the mirror. I'm only a week along and I look like I'm 3. I didn't know pups grow that fast, I will just ask Liam about it later. I put on a long flowy blue summer dress and curled my hair into soft waves. I looked for Liam and found him playing Grand Theft Auto waiting for me. He noticed my presence and stopped playing, making his way over to me.

"You look beautiful Catalina. I am so lucky to have you as my true mate." Pecking my lips and grabbing my hand.

We went to his parents' house and knocked on the door. When the door opened, I was shocked at who opened it. My ex mate and my mate's sister with Liam's parents. What the hell is he doing here? I walked in with Liam fuming with anger.

"Chris what are you doing here?"

"It turns out Chloe is my true mate."

"What? My sister is your mate and you are here to crash our family dinner."

"Yep. It's great to be one big happy family, isn't it Catalina."

"Don't make me go Madea on you Chris. I will slap the shit out of you! You have no right to come in here and ruin one of the only things I have that makes me happy. These people are more family than my own parents and sister."

"Lina calm down it's not good for the baby."

Still fuming, we sat down at the dinner table. I know he is planning on breaking me and Liam up, which will never happen in a billion years.
