Chapter 15

Leo POV~

I have been searching for my mate so long, I only had one more pack to look in. I have begun to fear that I would never find her or that she had gone rogue. My heart wanted to break in half with the thought. I got a call from Lina the other day, she said she wanted me to come visit her and her husband/mate's pack. I quickly agreed because she just had my neices and nephew, and because I loved my baby sister so much. I thanked the Alpha of the pack I was staying with and left to catch my flight to Tennesee. I couldn't fathom that my sister ran away from my parents and got on with her life without dwelling in the past. I knew she was strong, but I never knew she was going to escape the abusive people I called parents. They fucking worshipped my sister Leila because she was "special". Yeah special as in plain fucking stupid. That's why I left that place, but I had wanted to take Lina with me. I didn't because if I did, she would have never found her mate. I am thankful, but regretful because of all the beatings she took for stupid reasons or just for them to do it.

4 hours later~

I arrived at the Dark Star pack house in the middle of a what seems to be a karaoke night. I leave my bags by the door then I grab some booze from the table, drinking my mate problem away. I only got to one drink when I heard a beautiful voice coming from the stage. I smelt the sweetest smell of strawberries and vanilla, the perfect combo. The smell of my mate means she's here. I lock onto a pair of the most beautiful sapphires I have ever seen. Those eyes are temptation from the devil himself. Her beautiful raven black hair was braided Catniss style all the way to her hips. Her adorable button nose and red plump lips fit her perfectly as did her curves. Her hips swayed with the music pounding through the room. All I wanted to do was take her to the nearest guest room and have my way with her. I don't even know her name and I'm already in love. I go over to my beautiful mate and introduce myself. She doesn't recognize who I am yet.

"Hi, I'm Leo."

"I'm Rebecca. Nice to meet you."

"Same. Do you want to dance?"

"Sure!"

Then a slow song came on. It was Crazier by Taylor Swift. It was perfect because she was driving me crazy about her beauty. I touch her hand and pull her to me. The sparks flying everywhere. The same thing came out the same time.
