Chapter 3

Liam POV~

My mate was gorgeous. She had long dirty blonde hair that was so thick and wavy, those icy blue eyes that hypnotize me when I look into them. My other mate rejected me and I was so broken I almost killed myself. I am glad I didn't though, because I would not have the chance to meet my one true mate. I know she had a lot of baggage, but so did I. Either way we were going to go through it together. When we walked through the door, I wrapped my arm around her waist. What? I am very possessive especially in a house full of unmated males. She didn't seem to mind though, I knew she felt the same tingles on her body. Oh god the body! It was curvy with at least C cup boobs and her little butt was adorable that it perfectly fit her 5'1 frame. I couldn't wait to mark and mate her, but I knew with her insecurities she would rather wait. I would wait til the earth ends for her to be ready. She seemed like a sweet and caring person, I knew she would make a great Luna for our pack.

Lina POV~

Liam grabbed a hold of my waist as we approached the door. I knew this was the man that Lily was talking about, my new mate. He seemed like a loving and caring mate that I thought he would be. I loved the tingles and fire that spread through me as he touched me. The moment I walked through the door, I was pulled into a bone crushing hug. I didn't mind, I actually enjoyed the love I was receiving. It happened to be Liam's parents.

"Oh honey, welcome to the family."

"Thank you, I was not loved this much at my old pack. I wish I had parents like you guys."

"Oh Lina, my name is Carmen and this is my mate John. We are Liam's parents and welcome to the Dark Star pack."

"Thanks."

Liam tells me to follow him to his office. Once there, he takes a deep breath.

"So you know we are mates correct?"

"Yes I do. Please accept me, I have been through too much to be rejected again. I probably won't find a third mate. Omg I am going to die alone!"

"Lina chill, take a deep breath. I am not going anywhere, and of course I am going to accept you. I was rejected by my first mate as well. I know you are afraid, but just know you aren't the only one to be scared of rejection."

That's when I start bawling. I was so happy and my wolf howled for her mate. Liam wiped the tears from my face and kissed me. I ran my fingers through his short thick hair while he grabbed my ass. Damn did he taste heavenly! He pulled away first.

"How about I take you out on the town tonight to get to know each other?"

"Are you asking me out on a date?" I fake gasped.

"Yes," as he looked down to the ground trying to hide his blush.

"Is the big bad alpha blushing? Now I have seen it all."

He laughed grabbing my face with his hands. Then sparks exploded in my mouth as he kissed the life out of me.

"You will be staying in my room. I won't be able to sleep without you near me. Now I am leaving in 30 minutes, so that leaves you 20 minutes to get ready."

"What happened to the other 10 minutes?"

"Well this is what is gonna take up 10 minutes."

He kisses me softly but passionately. He held to his promise because after kissing for that long, I needed a shower. He led me to our room with my hand in one hand and my bag in the other. I opened the door to a huge clean room. The walls were blue with wood floors. It had a king sized bed in the middle, a flat screen on the wall across from it, and a book shelf. While he sat on the bed reading something, I went to the bathroom to shower for our date. I needed to tell him about my sister coming to join our pack on our date tonight.
