"AN OCTOLING!" I could hear Marie yell, venue though we were about 60 yards apart.
Hearing bubble sound behind me, I began to run helplessly towards Marie, as she was the only one with a weapon in the vacinity. Percy did not show fear on his face like me, since it was basically his job to fight them, but I have never seen an Octoling in real life. I managed to run all the way up to Marie and Percy, and thank goodness the Octoling didn't follow me.
A pink ring appeared me and it spiraled clockwise. In the air I could see Callie Super-Jumping to me. I backed up and stood beside Percy as she hit the ground.
"Let's get them!" Callie told Marie, but I could hear it through the headphones.
"Octoling ink is very fatal towards Inklings, and vice versa. If you see an Octoling, run away immediately unless you have a weapon and want to risk your life saving others." I remember something like that in a textbook from the library.
"Get back to the teleporter! We'll handle them!" Callie told us before running off.
I knew that since I didn't have an ink tank on me, any teleporter would work. Percy and I ran to Marie's base and into the teleporter. We returned in Marie's chaneroom, which looked just like Callie's, but it had a green and black sequened charger bag.
"Where do we go?" I asked Percy as he was running out the door.
"I'm going to the Agency, but first, get your roller." He took my arm and pulled me back into the secret path and back into the studio to get my sweater with the keys in it.The jellyfish was not at the front desk, so we had to crack open the closet and take my hoodie off the hanger. I pulled it over my head and we ran for the path again to get to LockHaus through he back. We opened the doors and it was packed with cowering people of many ages hiding behind lockers. We reached my locker and I hurriedly opened it and grabbed my roller.
"The only way to get out there is through the Plaza." He told me.
We looked out the glass doors of the building and watched as varying octo-things roamed around."Well, what's to loose?" I ran out the door.
"Alot?!" Percy ran after me.It was scary trying to sneak past them, but it was possible. Percy lifted up a sewer grate and told me to get in.
"What? In there?" I stepped back.
"It's not an actual sewer. It's clean." He pulled me once again and he told me to climb down the ladder. After more running, we raced an opening with a tiny little wooden shack. He guided me down another ladder and then cracked open a steel door.
"Welcome to the Angency."
Inside were some inkling all wearing he agent gear and rushing around to prepare for a fight. One ran up to us.
"Agent 8! It's about time! Get you and your girlfriend fitted up!" Then he ran off.
"I know this isn't the best time, but... your going to be part of the Agency. Let's go, Agent 20." He ran towards a cloying section in a corner.
"Get yourself some clothes that fit. I'll be right back."Agent 20? Me? This was a lot to process. I did as told, took my size of vest, some fancy agent headphones and shoes that fit nicely. As I was changing in a room I kept hearing a lot of yelling. "Group B are off!" And "Take this Roller." were ones I could remember. Actually, the person talking sounded like Percy.
Knock knock!
"Are you done? I know girls take a while to get ready but honestly, this is an emergency."
I peeped the door open.
Percy was leaning against a Hero Roller, and he was already changed.
"How do you do that?" I fully opened the door and held my normal clothes in my arms.
"In emergencies, you learn to speed things up. Now, take this. Hand me your clothes so I can put them in a locker." He passed the handle of the Hero Roller to me. In return, I gave him my sweater, hat and shoes. He walked off to the locker area, which was in the center of the room. He opened it with a key card and he put my clothes inside."Group C, prepare to be deployed!" A voice yelled. Percy came back and looked at me.
"That us, are you ready?" He cocked his head to his left.No.
"Yeah... I was just... thinking."
"Um. Okay. Come with me to the teleporter." He lead me to a different style of teleporters that I haven't seen yet. They seemed a bit steampunk. He introduced me to his group.
"This is Agent 20, or Psyche. She's not reeeeaaaally in the Agency, but she's here to help."They all looked at me. One was a girl, and the other was a boy. The boy was the first to comment about me.
"Honestly I don't care if she's in the Agency or not at this moment, I only care if she's a good member. I'm Payton, Agent 11." He shook my hand.
"Group C, off in 1!" The same voice that has been yelling continued. He needs water.
The girl introduced herself too.
"I'm Agent 17, Isabelle. You can call me Liz.""Group C are off!"
