   "You're on!"

We both ran into the Tower, smirks on our faces.

After checking in, we were put on different teams. This didn't bother me alot, since I was exited to meet new faces. Or so I thought.

Payton was inside. He looked up and saw me enter through the door.

"Oh, hey! Psyche, was it?" He waved me over.
"Exactly." I sat next to him.
"Sweet. I don't normally remember names... speaking of, here's Cadenza." He showed me the other inkling sitting across from us.
"It's Caden. Nice to meet you." He waved. I reflected the wave back, too.
I turned back to Payton.
"Why aren't you getting the great Zapfish?"
"We were deployed, but it got hard. Liz got hurt bad and Percy decided retreat. We're not the best crew, being crew C and all..."
"Sucks. At least your all safe."
"Yeah."

I was finally able to see what Payton wore on normal days, which were designer headphones, a baseball jersey and Zombie Hi-Horses. Beside him lay a Zink Mini Splatling.

Caden wore a CoroCoro hat, a varsity jacket, and plum casuals. He had a Luna Blaster on his lap.

   "An attacker, huh?" I asked.
"How'd you know?"
"All your clothes are Damage Up."
"Wow! Impressive. You're smart." He smiled and cocked his head.
"I learn alot from watching TV."
"Really? What's your favorite team?"
"Angler Aces. Mainly because of Via."
"You like Via?" Payton screeched.
   "Yeah, what's up?"
"She's my sister."

I chocked on the air I was so suprised. "REALLY?"
"REALLY." He pushed his hands on the bench, lifting him higher.
"Why does she play from Halibut then?"
"Ah, she was drafted and the Anglers were the first to take her. She flew across the country to get there. She hates planes."

Suddenly, the door creaked open.

"AYYYYYYY Payton!" A voice called. He turned around the corner and revealed himself. It was no other than Percy.

"Does no one else exist?" I yelled in between laughs.

Percy stopped in his tracks and blushed. "Oh hey, Psy."

He sat next to me.
Wet had to introduce him to Caden, and vise versa for Caden.

Caden seemed not as interested in us as in Payton. He thought he was cool. I picked up on the interest and began internally shipping them.

"Match is starting in 1 minute, please get in the spawners!" The speaker boomed.

We all clipped on ink tanks and turned green, grabbed our weapons and waited in the spawners.

1 minute does not feel like a long time. It felt as if we were immidiately whisked off to Piranah Pit. This was a fun map to watch Splat Zones, since there were two zones, and keeping them needed special talent.

GO!!!

Percy went up to the right, where snipers perch. Him using such a short range, I think he'll move later in the game. The rest of us, went straight down, but Caden went to the left to cover up the plateaus on the far left. I kept guard of the halls while Payton inked the ground on our side.

There was an inkling coming straight at me, bearing a bright weapon. I couldn't see it, since I was swimming away for a better angle of attack.

"Nonono don't go!" The blue inkling called. I slowed down, but circled them. By this time Caden and Payton were already traveling to the other side.

The inkling popped back into a splotch of their ink, but did not move. I jumped  out and swung my Roller back for a better splat.

"Why, Psyche?" The voice said jokingly calm before exploding.
