A couple days later, Jenny dragged me to the art internship she was applying for. I really wanted to go to Treys house but she didn't trust me after Friday.

"Um, you're a little late." Lola said and waved at me. I waved back and sat down on one of the couches.

"Oh, am I?" Jenny asked, shocked and drank her drink she bought at a stand before we walked in. Can she get anymore dumb?

"Yeah." Lola replied, confused. I snorted and drank my water.

"Sorry. I guess I just needed some sleep after my date with Zac last night." Jenny smiled dreamingly to herself.

"Aw. I'm really happy for you guys." Lola gushed. "And I want you to know, Jenny, whatever happens today, whoever Leon picks, I'm ok."

"Thank you but you were right, Lola. I didn't even know who Leon Vasquez was before I read about this internship. I like photography but no, I don't love it. Not like you. I called earlier and officially withdrew my application. I'm taking the summer off." Jenny said.

My eyes widened and I spit out my water. "What?! You did?!" I asked. Well, kinda yelled.

"What about college, and early admission, and your transcripts?" Lola asked. Wow.

"What about free time and living outside the box?" Jenny smiled, pretending to be Lola. She laughed.

"Well since you're such an expert at this college stuff, maybe you could help me with my art school applications?" Lola asked.

"Sure. Friends help friends, right?" Jenny smiled and Lola nodded.

"And if you ever need a recommendation as babysitter, feel free to use my name." Jenny said and nudged Lola's shoulder.

"I think I should probably retire." Lola laughed.

"Gotcha." Jenny replied. As we were about to leave, Jenny turned around and headed to Lola. "Um hey, could you send me the pictures from the other night?"

"Yeah of course. I'll send them over to everyone. Come here." Lola said and waved us over.

"What's this?" Jenny asked.

"Just me being spontaneous." Lola smiled and handed Jenny a folder. They said goodbye to each other and Jenny and I laughed.

"Do you really want me to take you to the Andersons house?" Jenny sighed. I squealed and nodded my head yes.

"You really like him, don't you?" Jenny asked. I bit my lip and nodded.

"Yeah..I do..I really do. I..I think I love him." I whispered. Jenny gasped and squeezed my arm.

"Clove!! You love Trey Anderson?!" Jenny asked excitedly.

"Yes. But please don't tell him anything. Please?" I begged as we pulled up to the Andersons house.

"I promise." Jenny said. I hugged her and ran to their front door. Jenny drove off and I knocked on the door.

"Oh! Hi Clove!! Come in!" Mrs. Anderson said as she opened the door. I smiled and walked in. "Treys in the shower right now but you can wait right here."

"Thank you, Mrs. Anderson." I smiled and sat on the couch.

"Clove, I've been needing to ask you this but it's always slipped my mind." Mrs. Anderson chuckled. "Do you like Trey?"

I blushed and giggled quietly. "Um, we're actually boyfriend and girlfriend.." I said. Mrs. Andersons jaw dropped and she clapped her hands.

"Oh I knew he was the right one for you and I knew you were the right one for him! How did this happen?!" she asked.
