Chapter Twenty-four

"Once again you lied to me" Jungkook stared.

"I didn't, Taehyung did" I replied while on our way to my house.

I told Kly to just send us at the playground near with my house because i dont want dad or taehyung to see him. I was afraid that Dad might be disappointed to see me with him.

"Still you didn't deny back there" Jungkook talked back.

I stopped and looked at him. "Look, it's late and im tired. I dont want to have any fight with you, enough is enough. If u want an apology, go ask Taehyung for it" I scowled and gestured to walk but he hold my wrist.

"I... miss to have a fight talk with you" he chuckled while looking down.

"What are u saying now?" I asked weirdly.

"You heard me" he walked ahead of me, leaving me in confusion.

Why he keeps on saying nonsense things if he doesn't mean it?

We reached our house and rang the bell, as Taehyung opened the door straight away.

"Noona!" He shouted and hugged me. Jungkook looked away, somehow i sense a jealousy from him.

This kid, he's the one who lied to me and dad. Kly is not a bad person, he created a stupid lie.

I smiled and broke the hug. "Where did u go?" Taehyung asked.

"Uh.." I was stuttered.

"We went to the bookstore" Jungkook interrupted and cleared his throat.

"And why the hell are u here? wait your face.." Taehyung stared at him but Jungkook didn't give a shit at all.

"Stop that. He just bumped into a lamppost" I hit Tae's shoulder sligjtly and entered the house as i invited Jungkook as well. "Where's dad?" I asked tae.

"Went out to search for you. Ah right, i need to inform him" Tae quickly grabbed his phne and dialed dad's number.

Jungkook sat on the couch in the living room and rested himself whole closing his eyes.

"Have u call someone to pick you up?" I asked.

"Can i stay here for a night?" He asked without opening his eyes. "I dont want to meet my dad in this condition" He sighed.

"Sure.."

His dad beats him up without reason, but Mr Jeon still cares if his son be beaten up by someone's else. How weird is that?

"Here, a towel and clothes" i handed to Jungkook after i took it from Tae's luggage.

"Whose are these?" he asked.

"Of course it's tae, it couldn't be me" I sighed.

He stood up and walked upstairs.

"Wait where are u going?"

"Your room, there's a bathroom in there right?" he continued walking.

"B-but.." I sighed heavily and waited for dad to come home.

The door's bell rnag once again and i opened it to see Dad, heavy breathing.
"Whoa dad you okay?" I helped him sit down on the couch and grabbed a glass of water.

"Searching is not an easy thing" He chuckled and drank the water.

"I just had a stayback at school" i smiled a bit. "Sorry dad"

I excused myself and went upstairs, to my room. The door was opened, maybe Jungkook has finished bathing.
I entered and as i guessed, he has. He was sitting on the floor while looking at his phone with a towel on his head.

I went to my cupboard quietly and took my pyjamas and underwears then hid it under my towel. After that, i straight away went into the bathroom. Before i shut the door, i realised that he didn't move at all, as he continued staring at the phone.

I took a bath for around 10 minutes long, because it's too relaxing in the bathtub filled with warm water.

I wore my pyjamas inside the bathroom and went outside of it while brushing my wet hair with the towel to dry it.

"aww.." I quickly covered my mouth and changed my expression when i accidentally whined with a smile after saw how cute jungkook was when he lied on the floor with his left arm supported his head.

I went to him and hesistatedly to wake him up. It must be awkward i wake him up like this. I kneeled down beside him and bended to the front a bit to check if he's sleeping for real and yes he was.

"maybe i should tell tae to wake him up" I talked to myself and moved a bit to stand up but at the same time a drop of water from my hair fell on his cheek, makes him shot opened his eyes and saw me.

"Are u trying to rape me?"
