Chapter twenty-six

"We met my stepdad, Mr Kly" i sighed. No points on lying now.

"What? for what??" Dad startes to raise his voice.

"It's just a misunderstood. that's all" I shook my head.

"What if he tortures you like he does to your mom?" Dad asked, angry and worry at the same time.

My eyes looked at Taehyung who kept on eating like nothing's happening.

"You. Lied. To. Us" i pointed to him. Jungkook looked at him too, waiting for Tae's response.

"Me? what are u talking about?" Tae asked weirdly yet nervously.

"You lied to us that he tortures mom while he didn't. Why?" i asked.

"What- no, dad dont believe her. She just talk shit" Tae laughed.

"I saw it by my own eyes, mom doesn't have any bruises and for sure, she's happy. Right jungkook" i looked at him.

"Right" he nodded.

"I.. want to go out for a while" Tae smiled and stood up.

Because Jungkook was there, i dont think i need to ask him or force him to tell now. He must be ashamed of it eventhough he's the one on blame.

I just need to wait for the right time to ask, lile a family meeting. Jungkook took a bath and informed me that his driver will pick him up around 3.

I looked at the clock, it's just 12.25.

"You are not going anywhere on weekend?" He asked.

"Uh, no" i shook my head and watched the tv. Dad went out to settle his company while Tae, as he said he wants to go out for a while.

"that's boring. Let's go out before i go home" he suggested.

"I need to do my homeworks for your information" i stated without looking at him. He whined and just stared at the tv.

"Jungkook, you told me that u hate me"

"I never said that. I just say that i cam't believe you anymore" he corrected me.

"That's the same" i sighed. "it still hurts me"

"You hurt me first"

"Okay, okay. I know. No need to remind me of the past. I did that because of my dad at first but slowly i have changed my feelings toward you"

"Is it still the same now?" he asked as he leaned closer. He hold down my hand which was holding a phone.

"Manners, Jeon Jungkook. I know u just want to play around. Stop it, i know im guilty" I looked away and pulled my hand, breaking from his grip.

He chuckled.

As expected. He just want to hurt my feelings.

But this feeling wont be last long, until i graduate and leave the school one day. Since that, i wont see him ever again, if that's what he wants.

After he has gone home, not too long after that Tae reached home and entered with a poker face.

"Come here" i patted the space next to me with a smile.

"I know what u want" He sighed and sat down.

"So why did u lie? if u tell me now, at least i will try to back u up when u need to tell dad the truth" i spoke up.

"I just want mom and dad to be together. That's all" He sighed.

"liar"

"It's the truth! you see, Kly doesn't treat me lile his own son. He doesn't give me much attention like dad gives to me before. Same with mom" He shook his head.

"That time, it was like a kidnap scene. Jungkook was beaten up and they brought us to Kly's house forcedly. He told his servants to not hurt anyome but they did"

"Kly searches for you, afraid that whete could you go, disappear just lile that and you said that he doesnt love you?" I chuckled as Tae remained silent.

"Listen, from what i saw yesterday, mom is happy with Kly and there's no way mom wants to go back to dad. So choose, want to stay with mom or dad? We need to be fair"

He sighed, after know what i meant. "You want to tell me that i need to go to mom?" he asked.

"Exactly" i smiled. "You need to try get along with Kly. People doesn't change too soon, i know that but u need to show some effort on it" i patted his shoulder.

He stood up, leaving me as he went to the room and locked himself in.
