(Mikey's POV)
"Bro, if you untie that and retie it one more time, I'm gonna cut it off your neck." Jason said in annoyance. I blushed, and dropped my hands in my lap. "I'm sorry, I'm just-" "Nervous. We know." Madison said, finishing my sentence. I looked down, and bit my lip. Layla managed to get us into this big award show, and I knew Gabrielle was going to be there. See, I've wanted to text her all week. I'm just too damn chicken! How do you talk to your celebrity crush? Because it's nothing something I have to handle everyday! The car we were in made an abrupt stop, and I was shaken out of my day dream. "This is as far as I can take yous. Too much traffic. Good luck getting in there." Our driver spat, his thick Jersey accent evident. We all got out, and he sped away, beeping and yelling out his window at a man who tried to cut him off. "Alright boys..." Layla said. "We're here! Act professional! Michael, straighten your tie. Madison, tie your shoes. Jason, just keep being Jason." We all fixed ourselves, then broke into the huge crowd of people. I pulled out my iPhone, and typed up my message:
Hey, are you here tonight? If you are, we should meet up and get that long awaited picture (;
I pressed send, and smiled. See, this was all fate. I never texted her because this was the perfect moment too. I just had to wait awhile. I held my phone in my hand, waiting for it tto vibrate. Ten minutes. Nothing. Fifteen more minutes. Still nothing. By showtime, I was convinced she just didn't want anything to do with me. But then, my phone vibrated. But instead of a text, it was a tweet, from her. I opened the picture attacthed, and felt my heart drop at the collage of pictures of her with fans. The caption:
Had fun meeting some lovely fans before the awards started (:
I cursed to myself, and slumped in my seat. I could've seen her again, but I didn't...
