Chapter 4: "A special order"

Kai's POV

I'm done!

I'm FINALLY done!

These special swords took so much time!

They're not really that special, just an order for the.. princess.

A double katana sword.

I had the swords in my hand, and now I'm about to give them to the princess.

I was waiting a bit distant from her room, while a servant went to knock on the door.

The door opened, and a young girl stepped outside.

I took a quick glance.

Boy, She's beautiful..

She had her red hair made into a ponytail.
She was in an orange dress, with black drawings, and a small tiara was on her head.

I bowed on one knee, bent my head down, and offered the sword on both my hands.

I heared her high heels footsteps approaching me.

She picked up one sword.

Seconds passed then..

I felt something coming quick my way, so I grasped on the sword's hilt with both my hands and defended myself.

The princess's sword hit mine.

The shiny blade was a few inched from cutting my head in two.

"Hmm, it's light, and strong."

She drew her sword back, so I put mine down too.

I took the time to scan every inch of her face.

Her eyes were a charming amber color.
Her hair was a gorgeous red.
Her small lips were a pale orange color.
Her skin was white, not what I expected since her father, the King, has darker skin.

As I said. She's beautiful.

I watched as the princess swung the sword in the air, then cut the statue next to her in half.

"And sharp."

She picked up the second pair from my hands, and put it right on the one in hers.

Yup, they're totally identical.

That's one thing only a professional blacksmith can do.

But I'm rarely asked to forge double swords anyway.

"Not bad. I like it."

"I-It's my purpose to please you, Princess."

A smile drew on the girl's lips as she passed her fingers on the sword."Hm, and nice doodles."

Yeah, painting on swords is another thing I rarely do.

"Too bad they would get erased with time." She added.

"Then I will be glad to re-draw them for you anytime."

"I would really appreciate that."

She turned around and headed to her room.

I stood up, and kept starring at the door she just walked through for a moment, then decided to go back to the workshop.

I was still lost in thoughts.

Dude, she was about to cut me in two! She's crazy!

I like crazy.

Wait what?!
I shouldn't think of that. She's the princess!

She's gorgeous.

Shut up, brain!

I never saw her before, until now of course, just heared of her like all the others.

Her name is Skylor. (Taylor:) At least that's what people say.
And she doesn't seem to be the girly kind.

I entered our workshop.

Nya was hammering a small block of burning iron.

Right.. We need to finish a huge number of weapons very soon.

Okay brain, just forget about her and shut up. I've got some work to do.

Without a word, I walked to the other stand and started heating a piece of metal to start working.

Sorry I'm late. I had the chapter ready and forgot to publish it! *facepalm*

But yay! The Kailor began!
