ch 5: family bonding time

Nycki's POV
(Afternoon)

Katie and I woke up to find Bethany gone, but don't worry she left a note saying she's has to leave early since it's a full moon tonight and I plan to be with Ethan

Katie and I packing up so we can go over her house for the full moon, we're walking downstairs while talking we get to the door and we were stopped by my parents

"Where do you think your going?" My mom asked

"Over Katie's house" I say

"Do you know what's tonight?" My dad asked

I look at Katie and she looks at me, and we look back at my parents and shakes out head no

"It's a full moon of course" my dad smiles

I look back at Katie and she looks back at me and we look back at my parents

"So" I trailed

"So that means all the wild things comes out tonight" my mom says

"And" I trailed

"Meaning your not going out, cause we are having a family game night" my mom says

"Family game night?" I laughed but my parents looked pretty serious

"Wait your serious?" I asked

My mom nodded

"We haven't did family game night since the family reunion in 2009" I pointed out

"Well, that's how you know its been awhile" my mom says

"But mom they called the cops on us" I say

"We're having a family game night and that's final" she says

I sighed

I look back to Katie

"Sorry, I can't go out" I say

"It's Alright, See You Tomorrow? " she says

"Yeah" I say

"Bye" she says

"Bye" I say closing the door as she left

I walked into the dining room, where I see Katie fly away through the window

"So what game are we playing?" I asked

My dad set down the board game on the table

"Monopoly?" I say

"O Yeah" my mom and dad say

"We're going to be here for a while" I mumbled while taking a seat

Katie's POV

I walked into the house and into the study, to see Grayson standing there

"Hey" I say

"Sup" he says giving me a hug

"What's Going On?" I asked

"Luna May wanted to talk, and I'm just waiting for Ethan" Grayson says

"Talk about what?" I asked

He shrugged his shoulders

"He's taking forever" Grayson complain

Grayson then runs upstairs and comes back with Ethan in his basketball shorts

"You couldn't wait until I dried my hair?" Ethan asked

"No, you were taking too long" Grayson argued back

"Is everyone here?" Luna May says

"Yeah, everyone excepted for Dorothy" I say

"So I have news" Luna May

"Which is" Ethan trailed

"Arden Whitlock died"  Luna May says

"How is that news?" I asked

"Its not I'm just glad we don't have to deal with those witches anymore" Luna May says

"So what's the news?" Ethan asked

"The vampire court, heard about Ethan being kidnapped by the witches and would like to applaud you for escaping alive" Luna May says

"Well, if it wasn't for Grayson, Katie and Nycki I wouldn't be alive" Ethan says

"They want to join us for a dinner, and congratulate Grayson, Katie and Nycki for saving you" Luna May says

"Wait, They want to congratulate us, Awesome" I cheer and so did Grayson

"Wait!, the vampire court wants to meet Nycki" Ethan says

I stopped cheering seeing the problem but Grayson doesn't stop

"Yes, they want to meet her, keep up" Grayson says

"Do you not see the problem here?" Ethan raised/asked

"No" Grayson says

"The Vampire Court wants to meet Nycki, She's not a vampire, and if the court finds that out, it could be over for her" Ethan says looking down and very sad

"So what's the plan" I look towards Luna May

"Plan?" She says confuse

"You always have plan, when tell us these things" I pointed out

"You're right, I have plan" Luna May says

"Nycki is going to turned into a vampire" Luna May says

"Cool, I always wanted to know how she tasted" Grayson says making me punch his chest

"What?" He asked

"Can't we just give those fake fangs and red contacts?" I asked

"No, the court is going to realize thay she is human, and do much worse, she must turn into vampire" Luna May says

"I could turn her" I volunteered

"No, Ethan must do it" Luna May says

"Woah, that's a lot of pressure" Grayson says which made me punch his chest again

"What?" He asked again

"Get some sleep we have a lot to do tomorrow" Luna May says
