Looking around the room at the faces of my classmates, new and old, I see looks of encouragement, pity, and excitement. Raya smirks down at me, Jace and their brother stand stoically against the outskirts of the room. I look back to Raya and stand up, taking a deep breath.
"I'm leaving. I cant believe that you guys would play this kind of trick on the town and have everyone so scared. I won't call the police but You'd better go home to your families, or at least school so people know you're alive. Obiously there's something going on at your homes to want to run and hide and make up some elaborate lies to cover for yourselves. But I wont be a part of it." I turn and walk towards the tall wooden doors I had come through.
"Elisea wait." Raya calls out to me. I pause, keeping my back to her. "Willa show her out. We wouldn't want her geting lost."
Another pause as I hear footseps and Willa lightly touches my arm. Following her she pushes the doors open with ease, and hear Raya call out to us again. "I hope you'll reconsider, Elisea."
Turning to look over my shoulder I sneer at her, "Not likely, I'd need to start doing alot more drugs before I could even think to swallow that bullshit." Running my hand through my hair I catch a smirk on Noah's face as his and Jace's eyes follow me out. Snapping my attenion to Willa I pick up the pace to catch up to her long stride as she confidently guides me through the halls. Out of that room with the crazies.
I'm publishing what I have of this chapter as I'm going to be re writing this story. Due to personal life events going on I haven't been able to give it the attention it deserves and I want to revisit this. I will leave the original up but this version will no longer be updated. Thanks for anyone who's still here and to any new readers I hope to see you when I release my new and improved Path of Moonlight! ~Azzy
