"You're too far for my hands to hold you, but too near for my heart to love you."
-Heraline

It was very quiet in the cold room where the new trainee lives in. It was dark and filled with unopened boxes on the floor, the wand was completely blank no pictures of long gone memories and not even the lights have been installed properly. It would take very much time and effort to make this room look somewhat lovely and cozy, like the owner had in mind. Slowly as the sun started rising the room got filled with a dim light, even reaching the owner who was curled up in a blanket, sleeping between some of the boxes. But the light couldn't wake the trainee out of his deep sleep.

The peaceful silence was destroyed by the piercing sound of a phone across from the room where the boy was sleeping. It went on for a while without him moving even a single inch until the first set alarm gave up and got quiet. Five minutes later the next alarm tried to do his work filling the room with a high pitched noise. Actually, this made him move a bit, however, he was far away from waking up. He was still happy in his dreamland, knowing he unfortunately had to leave it soon. Another five minutes later the next alarm gave its try with starting a hard beat while the vocals hit a high note. The mix of both seemed to finally wake the boy up, who still had the last image of his smiling dream boy in his mind as he finally opened his eyes. For a few seconds he was completely confused while scanning the room around him until he realized something.
His smile faded into a straight, still sleepy expression. He looked around his new apartment in Seoul.

It was just a dream...

He wasn't in Anyang, he couldn't go to his hill, his park or the cafe. Everything he has been used to and loved is so far away now. But one thing hit him badly. It was Jihoon, someone he will never be able to meet. He would never be able to reach the dimension he lives in. Only in his dreams he could meet the boy he fell in love with, ridiculous right? But he was desperate for him, he wanted to meet him so badly, maybe just because he knew, that Jihoon does not really exist. He was paralyzed for a few seconds having flashbacks about his dream. It all seemed so real, by an extend where he asked himself what was more real: waking up in this very inhospitable room, or that beautiful dream that gave him everything he wanted. Shaking off those thoughts, he got up and yawned heavily. He really couldn’t be bothered with everything life dropped off on his shoulders, but sulking wouldn't change anything anyway. However, he missed the lovely smell of delicious food his mother prepared,  or the whining of his sister. Now he was completely on his own. No warming smile his Mum would give to him, no bragging of that little brat he still loved, nobody he could lean on. It was a completely new feeling the both disgusted and insecure tall male had to get used to. Slowly he sneaked into the kitchen. A loud snore drew his attention to his roommate who was literally sleeping like a stone. A noisy stone. While he was searching for something he could make breakfast out of, he found some Kimchi in his little refrigerator a little cute note had been sticked on.

<Hello Ming~
I hope you will be fine by yourself. I know you'll be doing well on your own. Well, you still have Minghao so I hope you won't get lonely, and even if you are, me, your sister and your dad are just one call away. I know you struggled copying my kimchi so I made some for you. I hope you enjoy it. I know this is your dream but we are going to miss you. Even when Minseo acts like a brat to you she misses you too. No one made her hair as pretty as you did ;) Anyway Ming, I hope you will do well in Seoul and i'm sure you will make the best outfits this city has ever seen!
I love you and you will always be my baby. Don't forget about us in old little Anyang.
Your eomma>

He smiled at the sweet note decorate by some cute hearts, even when Minseo would deny it she decorated it. Mingyu could see it right away. He only could imagine how his sister glared at his mom as she wrote words like <she misses you too> or how she complained about how empty it look with just the writing and started decorating it. He would miss them too hell he misses them already. There was no way he could ever forget about any of their memories. He took the note and put it on the box  where  his pinboard was in. the day was far away from being great. Still he was excited, since today was his first day of his new work. So he made breakfast got ready threw Minghao out of his bed. Handling the others complaining till the grumpy chinese found the food and his eyes legitly started sparkling. No lies.
