"What is damage but forcing yourself, memories of yourself, onto someone else? Coloring someone else's body. In reality, it's sort of romantic. It's why we love to hurt each other."
-E.J. KohAs his body turned numb and his sight fade to black. He didn't know yet what terrible mistake he did. He had no clue how terrible his family reacted to his suicide. His sister couldn't handle the stress and had several breakdowns. Fainted in class and in the end failed her exams completely. When he, the perfect son couldn't make it what was she suppose to do. Minghao tried to do what Mingyu wanted. He tried to take care of Minseo but it was the same with Mingyu. The moment he had to go to work she had her breakdowns. He couldn't focus in work. Scared the same thing would happen to her, that she couldn't take it when she was alone. He was so worried for her like she was actually his sister. At work he kept getting worse even when he tried his best to do his best. He had to call Minseo from time to time just to assure she is safe if anything didn't seem right he instantly would go to her. He avoided the thoughts of Mingyu and replaced them with Minseo. It hurt to much to even think of him. Coming home to his apartment was terrible. All of it reminded him of the other, everything was still in the room, his scent, his clothing, the memories of him.. It hurt so damn much. He lost the most important person in his life. His best friend... His crush.
While giving his best to help Minseo in her school and mental health in general it was just more stressful for him, but he put himself last till the day he fainted from overworking. But at all those hard times they grew closer together they helped each other just as Mingyu hoped soon the wound healed Minghao and Minseo got better together. The next year were Minseo had to repeat her exams, it all calmed down, her panic attacks and break downs got less her scores got better again. All because of Minghaos help who didn't lose his job just because his boss understood what happened with Mingyu. He was so glad he understood every other boss would have thrown him out. But His mother never seemed to smile as brightly as before. She forced the smile on her lips trying her best to help Minseo. She felt so guilty for Mingyus death. She should have called more often, or visit. It was her fault so the only thing that gave her power was to not fail on Minseo.
The life of the living went on but the scares never dissapeared. The memories never left. If it was Minseos crying by night the guilt of his mother or the lonleyness of his best friend. Each of them lost something... Someone, no one will ever be able to replace.
The living continued but he brought himself more misery than he could ever expect.
As his sight came back there was no Jihoon. First there was nothing. Everything was black and it just felt like he was falling completely alone. Then slowly light came back to his life. Slowly the images got clearer till he finally knew where he was. A library. Everything seemed a little old the paper lost its colour and the bookshelf had some scratches. Some of the cover were frazed out but all of them looked like they have been treated like treasures. It seemed very cozy and comfortable so his scared beating heart slowly calmed down. he walked through the large room with endless books till he saw an opened window were the sunlight shine through, brightening the hole room. A male was sitting on the frame softly leaning outside but it wasn't Jihoon not at all. This guy was tall, his hair dark, and his body skinny that's all he could see from his back.
The longer he stared at him he wondered why the mysterious male wasn't moving. Only his curiosity brought him closer without knowing what was going to happen out of it. He didn't want to distract him he just wanted to see what he was doing. Then the tall male noticed him he looked up from his book up to Mingyu with the coldest eyes Mingyu has ever seen. His skin was pale even more paler because of his black hair. For a few seconds he was scared but that changed instantly as the others featured soften and a smile was on his lips. The eyes that shot goosebumps over Mingyus neck turned so soft he almost couldn't recognise them anymore. It shocked Mingyu for a few seconds but seeing that change, he quickly calmed down. He wanted to ask if he saw Jihoon somewhere but the words didn't come out. His body wasn't moving at all, as if he lost all control. A shy smile made its way on his lips the one he only shared with Jihoon. He wasn't shy at all he felt pretty comfortable actually right now. He was going to ask where Jihoon was if the guy didn't know he would have just thanked him and left. His body decided on his own. Words came out of his mouth but it wasn't the words he wanted to say. They were far away from the words he wanted to say.
