"The loneliest moment in someone's life is when they are watching their whole world fall apart, and all they can do is stare Blankly"
-F.Scott Fitzgerald

Jihoon never was a super active person. He didn't like to run around a lot. Like in soccer he rather was the goal keeper. He liked everything simple. he didn't had to have anything special. Music exactly gave that to him it amazed him and brought him joy so all he wanted to do was to share that joy he felt with others. He practiced 24/7, writing songs till he applied for Pledis entertainment as a producer. He could have become an idol but he rather be behind the production and not the face everyone saw. Another thing he didn't like was attention. Behind his favorite four walls he wrote songs for various artist that got unbelivable successful and that rather quick. So he ended with too much requests without a clue Where to start. But he never stopped enjoying his job.

He never had any relationship he just wasn't interested in that. What brought him a lot of teasing from the few friends he had. Those friends weren't really constant, people come and go without putting much effort in staying expect for one. Kwon Soonyoung he may was ridiculously annoying and he never understood how he didn't throw him out of the windown especially if he was with his Boyfriend Seokmin. On the other Hand he didnt understand how such a boring Person like him could get a super hyped, 24/7 Happy Virus as a friend. A mystery he never bothered to solve. Even when he got annoyed of him he was a friend he could trust and never wanted to lose... Now he could just wonder how he is doing without him?

Since he died he only lived in his and Mingyu's past. He could find every secret the other had, what was happening in his life everything, but he didn't do that. If Mingyu wanted him to know he would show him. Like he did in their first dream as he showed him how he broke his arm. He wasn't sure if he did that on purpose but the memory repeated in front of them. Back then Jihoon was shocked he didn't know whats happening. I mean a memory repeating in front of you wasn't normal. It took him a while till his memories of his death came back. And everything made a little more sense.

Since then a lot has changed he understood now how all of this works. He wasn't alone when the other woke up. They never were, normally the dead barley interacted with the owner of the dream. There were thousands of them probably even more. Some of them were scared and still didn't understand they died. They were really mentally unstable. He called those hunters. They barley appear in a human form anymore, they form changed in the condition their mind was in at the moment or how much power they had. They either hunted other people who were locked in here too or hunted the dream of the owner causing horrible nightmares. Jihoon really couldn't believe they were at some point human beings. Of course they couldn't hunt every dream. There was a barrier between the dreamer and the ones who were locked in it. Just if u had power or he wanted u in his dream you could actually reach him. Jhoon's biggest fear till now was that this barrier wouldn't let him through anymore.

It was a pretty complex system it took him a while to understand it completely. The hunters lived from negative emotions. If his life was positive the hunters were weak some of the others even said they disappeared, but if he got negative feels the hunters grew. They infected others and broke through the barrier of the dreamer. He only saw that once. The first time Mingyu woke up after he entered his dream he instantly saw one hunter. A black substance flew around it, the substance was thin and you could still see the origin form of it but completely in black and white. The one he saw disturbed him the most till now. It was a little girl. Her hair was ash black and so her complete eyes. There were black stain of tears. But the worst was her gaze, her pupils followed everything happening but she didn't move one inch she didn't even blink but the longer Mingyu was gone the black substance grew thicker around her till she completely disappeared under it and at one point it grew even faster a few second after that Mingyu appeared Jihoon instantly run behind the barrier that was building up around Mingyu. He thought he was save but the hunter grew too much the slime how he called it was all around the barrier slowly dripping through it until it broke down. The barrier splittered like glass and was replaced by harsh black walls. The girl from before run at Jihoon pinning him against the new formed wall as the slime drilled itself into his brain. His eyes turned white and black marks formed onto his body. He was unable to move and she laughed. She just laughed and used his memory against Mingyu and it worked so well. He thought he was going crazy all he felt was pain. A smog of black grew around him and he thought he was turning in something like her but than he saw Mingyu suffering, and the need to protect him took all the pain and hate he felt at that moment away. His former white eyes turned back into his soft brown one not missing one step of Mingyu. Nothing changed about the fact that he still felt terrible because he had to suffer like this but the smog started to disappear. The slime started to minimize and the crazy little girl that stopped paying attention to him started to freeze again. And we already know what happened from there.
