Ulem Station.
Now stood alone.

The reserve fleet that would have surrounded it. Having joined with the Reinforcements sent by Superior Admiral Iverden of the neighbouring Region.
The reserve fleet and their new brethren, just departed moments ago.

Roaring their VMPI.
And accelerating past what was known as the top limit of space.

Lightspeed, gone.
Left behind in dust.

To Iveden's "Extermia" Company.

He himself wasn't with them, having a region of his own to deal with.
But he left the Captains of their vessels to rendezvous with Revanna, and follow her authority.

Three 8km Alpha-Class Implicatorian battleships stretched the sky as space unfurled itself to reveal their arrival above planet Taraven, surrounded by their subordinate Beta-Class and Kind-Class vessels. Numbering 54 vessels all in all.

Hardly half a company, but Superior Admiral Iveden could only spare so much. Tiny as it was for matching an Orion-Class warvessel.

Superior Admiral Revanna, stood at the very helm of the central craft. It's Y like design, almost like a fork. But far more impressive than that would make it sound I assure you.

Two large engine banks came out from those fork points. Now trailing a stream of hot blue Ion Reaction. Colours of green and blue stripped across the ships of the fleet, like old dinner jackets. Their smooth construction, almost identical to the Last Stand Navy force down below.

Within the bowels of the central craft. A voice piped up, with a dead tone.
"We've detected the Rebels, Superior Admiral."

She didn't turn.
Her eyes locked straight ahead onto a central display which showed the world, zoomed onto the position of the Orion-Class Ferolder.

In the badly illuminated light of the bridge, one could almost swear she was losing her mind. As she seeming to twitch constantly, her eyes dancing across her face.

Indeed her mind did spin.
Her window of opportunity was short.
Dangerously short.

She had to remove the guardians, and somehow extract that damnable cache within this given time limit. While keeping all these nuisances distracted.

According to Last Naval Protocol Ishleftus #283. Any and all military forces left on a world after a combat operation ( unless required otherwise  ) should assist in civilian rescue efforts, and reconstruction of basic amenities essential to a standard grade of survival.

This also included scouring the remains of Gersanto for any survivors...

If they followed suit with this plan, the discovery of the guardians, and her cache.
Would be swift and unavoidable.

She needed Gemini gone. They had accomplished their goal.
But they were now the perfect distraction.

However the cache itself needed to be extracted secretly...
The guardians dealt with...

What ever they were.

Too much had to be accomplished with few too many ways to do so.

A soft voice came from behind her.
"Admiral?"

It was Superior Captain Ellaria. Her face calm. But worried.
"What are we waiting for?"

Revanna snapped her head back and forth. Knocking herself back into attention.
"Go. Begin the assault."
