Danny's POV
Nicole's been in the hospital for days now and she still hasn't woke up, I can't help thinking it's my fault. I've been so worried about her but she's still breathing so that's good. I mean who wouldn't be? My girlfri- well friend...is in a coma and I can't do anything to help her and I really wish I could. I know it's all my fault but the others are trying to convince me that it's not. I know they're just trying to make me feel better but it's not helping. To be honest I think they're just making it worse for me because they know it's my fault and they just don't want me to believe it. If I didn't try to get her back and act like a idiot she would be okay and healthy. But no I had to be a idiot didn't I? Agh! I hate myself so much right now.
I was sitting in Nicole's hospital room holding her hand hoping that she would at least move. All the time she was in the hospital I sat there waiting. The others told me that I should leave her and get some rest and eat properly. I ate little snacks that they bought me and I only had round about a hour or two of sleep each day. I was drinking properly so that was good but I couldn't leave her side to do anything. I didn't want to miss anything. I was starting to get quite ill, I looked like a mess and I really wasn't getting enough sleep. Days went by without her waking up but I wouldn't leave. I refused to leave her, even when they went to the nicest places I stayed in the hospital with her. Days were turning into weeks but still nothing. No movements. Not a slightest bit of hope for her living. She was still breathing but I was still worried sick about her. At one point the others were so worried that they forced me out of the room they actually tried picking me up but I fighted I wouldn't let them. I had to stay there, I just had to. Then Tom walked in...
Tom-Come on mate! You need to get out of this place! You've been in here for about a week or so now. You look like crap as well! Come on, you won't miss anything. I promise you.
Danny-No Tom! You don't understand. Just leave me alone okay? I'll leave when she's either dead...
I froze for a minute. Nicole might die because of me!
Danny-...Or better.
Tom-Fine! Don't say we didn't try to help you.
He said walking out. I looked back over at Nicole she was completely pale and she already looked dead. No life in her at all. I missed her normal cheery self.
Suddenly the beeping machine started to get faster and faster.
Danny-DOCTOR! QUICKLY SHE'S GOING TO DIE!
I said tears rushing down my face, I held her hand tighter hoping something would make her better. Then the machine let out a long beep no stopping just a long beep.
Danny-No! Nicole! You can't do this to me, I'm sorry Nicole wake up! Please I love you please! Nicole no! DOCTOR!
The doctors and nurses came rushing in to try to save her. My heart was being ripped out of my chest. My breathing was getting faster and I was crying my eyes out. This can't happen. It just can't.
