" That sounds a little childish, don't you think?" Uncle Mikey chuckled.

Steph appeared. " Yeah, Fuckface, what are you, five?" She mocked.

"Effy, why don't you go to your room or something, while us grown ups talk, yeah?" Daddy Vic told me.

"They don't like you! They just think your some stupid kid. Ha!" Steph spoke.

I could feel myself go pale. I quickly darted out of the room and went to my 'hideout'. It was more of a treehouse outside my closet window. I go there whenever I need to get away.

Once I got there I grabbed my pocket knife out of one of the secret cabinets in the hideout walls. Steph had followed me in here.

"Go cut yourself, they don't care. No one cares. Everyone hates you!" Her words were true.

I began to breakdown. I took the blade to my wrist for the second time today.

"Come on you pathetic faggot, go deeper!" Steph screamed at me.

I gave her what she wanted and cut deeper. My arm was covered in blood. I heard someone coming, I didn't bother to stop. Jack stood in the hideout entrance with worry plastered on his face. He ran over to me.

"Effy, why did you do this?" He choked.

"I don't want to be here anymore, Jacky." I cried.

He held me in his arms."Baby, why would you say that?" Jack quivered.

"Because nobody likes me... I'm just a waste of space!" I silently shouted.

"No you're not." A voice said.

I looked over to see Alex. He came over to us.

"Effy, baby, listen to me. There are so many people that love you. Jack, Tony, Zack, Rian, Mike, me. He'll Vic and Jaime, if they lost you, I don't even know what they would do. You're their world Effy." He said

"And you're not a waste of space. You are a smart beautiful girl. I have never met anyone that has so many talents besides Jaime. You're very special Effy." Jack smiled at me.

"I love you guys." I whispered while hugging Jack and Alex.

"Let's go get you cleaned up and we can have a movie night in your room." Jack smiled.

We got into my room." I'll start the fort." Alex said.

Jack and I and to her bathroom where He cleaned up and bandaged my arms.

We walked back into my room and saw that Alex had built a huge fort out of blankets and pillows. It looked absolutely amazing.

"Holy shit!" I gasped. "This is awesome!" Jack and I said at the same time.

"I know." Alex said with a cocky grin.

I laughed.

"So what do you want to watch?" Alex asked and before I could say anything Jack chimed in.

"HOME ALONE!!!" Alex and I laughed at his enthusiasm. Jack looked at me with the cutest puppy dog face ever.

"Pweeeeeeeeeaaassseeee Effyy?"

"Ugh, fine, but only because I can't say no to puppy dog faces." I chuckled.

Jack smiled at me. I could help but feel butterflies in my tummy.

He put the disk in the DVD player. We all cuddled in the fort me in the middle. It was about 1 am and we were half way through 'The Lion King' when I fell asleep.

(Jaime)

It was 1 am and Vic and I were going upstairs to go to bed. I heard noise coming from Mari's room. I quietly opened her door and smiled when I saw Jack, Alex, and Mari all cuddled together and sleeping. The Lion King was playing, I noticed that Mari was mumbling the words to the film in her sleep. I couldn't help but chuckle. The Lion King has always been he favorite movie. I tiptoed up to them and covered them with a blanket and kisses Mari's head. I looked down to see bandages on her arm. I really hope it's not what I think it is. I frowned at the thought of that I walked out of her room silently closing the door on my way out. I went to mine and Vic's room. He was already lying in bed waiting for me. I striped down to my boxers and gave him a faint smile as I got into our bed.

"What's wrong?" Vic asked.

I sighed. "I think Mari self-harms."

Vic's eyes grew big and full of concern.

"W-why do y you think t that?" he stumbled on his words.

" I saw bandages on her arms. it made me think of when we were younger and did it." I choked out.

Vic looked saddened by this. "How do we find out if she does or not?" he asked.

"We wait for her to open up."

"I guess.." Vic shrugged.

"Everything is going to be okay." I tried to reassure him.

I kissed his head before drifting off in to sleep.
