"I'm waking up to ash and dust."
-Radioactive
16.
As my eyes flutter open I take notice in the fact that my back is only at a dull ache and my leg feels better than it did before. I stare at the bright light above me and then sit up. I was in a bed in the infirmary. I look around to see my dad tending to someone and then I see Mikel sitting in a chair by my bed sleeping. I get comfortable while sitting up and look at the iv in my arm. I pull it out and the machine next to me starts beeping alerting my dad and Mikel.
My dad rushes over as Mikel stands up to come stand by me, "Hey, hey, take it easy." He tries to put the iv back in but I won't let him.
"Where is everyone? What has happened?" I question the two men and Mikel speaks, "They are at mount weather, at the front doors. Clarke and Lexa have a plan, they are going to get everyone out."
At Mikels words Bellamy courses through my mind and suddenly I'm getting up off the bed. My dad tries to stop me but I send him a glare and he backs up and lets me do what I'm going to do.
"Take me, Mikel." I tell him and he shakes his head, "I dont think that is a good idea, you're still hurt. You need to rest." My dad nods in agreement.
"Mikel, you either take me or I go by myself." I stand steady on my feet and for some reason it doesn't hurt as bad as it did to stand.
Mikel sighs, "fine, but if you're in pain we are coming back."
I nod then turn to my dad, "did you give me something for the pain? I can't feel it."
He nods, "Yes, I gave you a shot to ease the pain and then we put ointment on your back to numb it even more."
"Okay," I turn to Mikel, "I need to change out of this, meet me at the front of the camp in fifteen."
He nods and I stumble out of the infirmary. My jeans are completely torn from giving myself stitches and my shirt is soaked with blood. I make my way down the halls and get to my room. Once I'm in I quickly grab an extra dark blue shirt and some black jeans. I then reach over to grab my jacket but I see Bellamys sticking out under the covers. I quickly grab it and throw it on, it's a bit big but not by too much so it will do. It still smells like him and I have to refrain from getting consumed by my thoughts. I will see him tonight when he comes home to me.
I tie on my black boots and then throw my long brown hair in a pony tail out of my face, my head still aches but I ignore it like I always do.
When I meet Mikel in front of the gates I see that he is holding my sword and even my gun. I immediately grab them away from him.
"I thought you couldn't hold a gun because of the myth about mount weather?" I question as the guards open the gates and we climb onto our horses and exit.
"Yeah well we're about to kill the mountain men so there's nothing to fear." he explains and I smile. He tells me the entire plan Clarke and Lexa have and I have to say it's pretty genius. By the time he's finished telling me it we arrive.
We quickly climb off the horses and tie them to trees. I spot Clarke, Lexa, and Millers dad in the front so I go up to them.
"Clarke." I get her attention and her eyes widen when she sees me.
"You're supposed to be resting." She explains worriedly while placing a hand on my arm.
"I'm fine, what's the next step." I ask her referring to the plan. She sighs, "we're waiting till the power gets shut off right now and then we will blow the door."
