i quickly press on jin's contact and he picks up immediately.

"hello? jin?"
"yes, hi hoseok. what's the matter?"
"um well firstly, have you seen jihoon around? he's not answering my calls or texts."

"yeah he hangs out with soonyoung now. he's mad at you for ditching him by the way." i'm not surprised but my heart sinks anyway.

"um ok, thanks, i'll try and talk to him later. secondly, do you know anyone with a name similar to 'yoongay?" i can practically hear jin's mind going wtf?

"no sorry."
"it's this guy's contact name and i need to know who he is."
"why don't you just ask for a pic or something?"
"i feel like he'll say no or just block me."

"well at least try hoseok. i have to go now, namjoon wants to talk."
"oh ok, i won't disturb anything. goodbye jin!"
"see ya, hobi."

he ends the call; i sigh and decide to make myself some food to cheer me up. after searching the cupboards for a while, i decide on some ramen and take my time getting it on the stove. i add the flavouring as the noodles bubble up and i stir it with my chopsticks, my mind racing somewhere else. would it really be a good idea to ask for his picture? i mean sure, his reaction will decided whether i need to call the police or not but i still have my doubts. what if he asks for one back?

suddenly, there's a sharp sting from my hand and i hastily retract it away from the stove i had so stupidly burnt myself on. i gingerly examine the damage and run it under some cold water. it's nothing too bad and will most likely heal in a week or two. after removing it from the cold water, i bandage it up and continue making my food. it gets pretty lonely around here sometimes, i wish yoongay was here as well. then i would have someone to talk to and laugh with.

i abandoned my thoughts as i dish out the ramen and sit down to eat, grinning at the bowl of deliciousness in front of me. yes, i'll definitely have to ask for a proper name and a face from yoongay. i unlock my phone before i regret what i'm about to do.
