Storms POV
"Stop pulling at it. It'll hurt more if you do." Silas slapped at my hand as I pulled at the dog collar around my neck that Thursday.
"But it itches! Like a lot!" I complained as I kept pulling on the collar anyway. People looked at me funny. We were in the library so they could hear everything we said.
"I don't care if it itches." He grabbed both my writs and held them against the table. "Don't itch. It will make it all the worse."
I whined and jerked at hold. People started whispering about us which made Silas glare in their direction. All heads turned away.
"You do realize everyone thinks your a couple now right?" That awkward blonde kid stood in front of us holding a stack of books. He had a raised eyebrow and a somewhat of a smirk as though he found this funny.
Silas let go of my hands and I went right back to tugging at the collar around my neck. After I had put it on it made a loud beep and ever since it's been stuck on my neck. When I shower, sleep and eat. It's itches after awhile.
"We won't ever be a couple so leave your nose out of this Twinkie."
"Harsh..." He mumbled and walked over to a row of books and began placing books. He must be the liberians helper.
"I said stop scratching!" He slapped the back of my head a little to harshly and I made a sound of distress.
"Silas it-!"
"No!"
"Quiet in the library!" 'Twinkie' shouted at us along with the librarian.
"Storm right?" Twinkie smiled at me and held his hand out.
"Yes...?" I took his hand and shook it.
"I'm Armani, but everyone calls me, twink, Twinkie and slutty blonde."
"That's nice...?"
"It's nothing I'm proud of so please call me Twinkie?"
He did ask nicely.
"Okay, Twinkie." I smiled a little.
"Anyway I got this from the office. Is it from a secret admirer?" Twinkie wiggled his eyebrows as he handed me a small white box.
Anther new color.
"Ah... No. It's from... Silas?" I offered with a fake smile as I opened the present.
I saw a bunch of folded notes. Most of it just information about the blood sample they got from me. At the bottom however was a special note.
It was red and written in big letters. 'DO NOT SHOW TO ANYONE.'
I shoved the white box at Twinkie and opened the red note. My jaw dropping. I had lean against my locker for support.
Dear Storm,
Thank you for doing this. But I have one more thing I would love for you to do.
Meet me tonight, at midnight, no later than that or someone near you will have an 'unfortunate' accident.
You must come alone. If you come with anyone than again. Someone will have an accident. I hope we're clear on this.
Ask your father, Angel where the old lab is.
That is our meeting place.
I expect to see you tonight.
"What's that look for Storm?"
