I was beginning to figure out the times and days. The bells would jingle every hour, each day of the week the bells would chime at a different pitch. At midnight and noon the bells chimed five times instead of four.I got three meals a day and two visits downstairs. During my visits I would talk with Marcus and Izic. They were actually really great people, the twins weren't much for chats, they would wrestle though and it was pretty fun to watch. Marcus and Izic decided we should place bets on them, I usually win. One day Mitchell gave me a chess board, Marcus loves chess so he and I play a lot while Izic watches. Some visits though I'll sit in Izic's cell and read up, Marcus will try to teach Izic chess during those visits. I've learned that Mitchell came here because he lost his fiance, who happened to look a lot like me, explains why he winks at me and why he liked me in the first place. He has a soft spot for me and his weakness is his right knee which he broke a while back. Doc on the other hand doesn't really have much emotion, he does have a hallow bone in his hip though, could easily break it. The visits lasted an hour then it was back to my cell.
Today was Wednesday, The bells were at a medium pitch. Today Mitchell came in with a wheelchair. "Sorry Summer, but Doc wants a visit with you too." He seemed almost as down as I was at the news. But I might be able to catch a glimpse of Celeste. I sat in the chair, the straps had to go a little farther up do to the bracelets. He wheeled me out and Marcus and Izic were looking at me with frowns. They both knew where I was headed too. When they were out of sight I took in my surroundings, looking for open vents or escape routes. I didn't find much but I did see a set of doors that led to a courtyard. It was bright outside, the windows weren't clear so I could only see yellow light. Mitchell was backing me into the elevator and then shut the gate. We went all the way up to the top floor, yet I couldn't see Celeste's face in her door's window. As Mitchell wheeled me down the hall I noticed a couple strands of blue hair on the floor. Celeste had a visit with Doc. I struggled slightly against my straps trying not to make it noticeable. We went to my normal room, Doc was standing my the table next to his cart with his arms folded and making a pouting face. "I don't see why I can't use my pretty knives, she can clearly handle it. Unlike my last visitor." I felt a spark of anger and struggled against the leather while glaring at Doc.
"I told you, I promised her no more knives and I never break a promise, especially to a woman" Why did he now seem so perverted and creepy, probably because he likes because I look like his dead fiance. Doc made a humph sound "Fine just get her on the table." Mitchell unstrapped me and I tried my hardest not to kick his knee and run. I got onto the table and got strapped down. "Now since I don't get my knives Mitchell has to stay and watch the results of the hormones. Last time I used these it went very wrong." I knew what he was talking about, Jax. "Don't worry, they are only stage one, the worst result would be long arms." That didn't sound too bad I guess. He injected the strange liquid into my neck which triggered a bit of pain in my stitches. I felt the cold liquid as it traveled through my body. I only felt cold, nothing else really. Both Doc and Mitchell watched me intently. I felt my chest struggling against the leather straps. Mitchell undid the strap across my chest and I felt instant relief. "How boring, her boobs grew a little. Nothing fun" Doc pouted again. He was so weird. Mitchell undid the rest of the straps. He motioned to the wheelchair "Well Doc, this visit is over now." I quickly sat in the chair, not wanting to see Doc longer than I had to. Mitchell, to my surprise didn't strap me to the chair. He just quickly backed me out and wheeled me to the elevator. "I know you are used to the straps being on but, I know you won't run and your wrists are very irritated." He cared. Creep. As he backed me into the elevator I checked Celeste's window again, nothing. I pulled my legs up and sat cross legged in the wheel chair as I watched the floors go by. We made it back to the cell block floor and I looked around more. When we reached my door Mitchell said "You can go downstairs if you want, lunch isn't quite ready." My bells chimed four times as I stood up and walked downstairs.
Marcus was trying to teach Izic chess again, I usually left the board down there for them since they never got locked in their cells. They spotted me as I made my way over and quickly stood up, "Did he cut into you again?" Izic said hastily. I shook my head and tried to fake inject myself, they understood, or at least Izic did. "Hormones?" I nodded, "What level?" I held up my index finger. Izic sighed, Marcus pointed to my boobs "bi-ger" I would usually slap someone for doing that but Marcus was a different story, but now both of them were staring, "Yes, the hormones must have effected the size of them" I put my hands on my hips and looked at them both sternly, Izic was the first to blush "Sorry.." he said, Marcus tried to apologize but his words were almost too broken to understand. Marcus pointed to the chess board on the floor, I nodded and sat on one side. Marcus took the side opposite of me and Izic sat to my left. We played chess for an hour, I even got Izic to play, he almost beat me too. My bells chimed and Mitchell came down "Izic, I didn't know you played chess?" Izic looked both scared and embarrassed. "Summer, how about a little wager and game?" I looked at him, this could be good. "You and me, If I win, I get a photo shoot with you in whatever I choose. Yes I will choose clothes don't worry. And if you win, Celeste will get the cell next to yours and have the same privileges as you." I got a spark of hope and nodded quickly. Izic moved out of the way and Mitchell sat down. We played for several minutes, Marcus and Izic watched with anticipation. The twins even came down and watched. I stressed over each move while Mitchell was entirely calm. "Check mate" I looked at the board with dread. I could have stopped the win easily but I didn't see it coming. "I win, I'll see you tomorrow. Dinner is waiting for you in your room, still hot." He walked off. I heard Jax, first time I had seem him all day. I walked to my cell dragging my socked feet. I still hadn't gotten a change of clothes, I probably will get one tomorrow at the stupid photo shoot. I got to my cell and shut the door, Mitchell had stopped locking it. I could now roam the cell area freely, but after dinner I always went to sleep, never in the mood for another visit, especially today. I ate in silence, mac and cheese, still hot as promised. I fell asleep to the recording "Pain, more and more pain" I had been right, it was a recording. I expected a nightmare or dream about tomorrow, but nothing. I rarely had dreams or nightmares anymore. I need to get out soon. This place is getting to my head.
