Making our way around

I didn't need to see everyone else to know they were holding their breath as well. Mitchell made it through the wooden path and stood right in front of me. "Hurry up Doc" Doc was sliding through as well. Please for the love of fuck don't look at me, don't even find us just please please please. Mitchell began walking, once Doc was through he followed. I waited until I couldn't hear the splashing of their feet in the water. I let out a deep breath and breathed heavily for a moment before squeezing back through the narrow wood. Jax still stood by as I made it through, i'm surprised he would help us at all. Everyone squeezed through and Jason led them down a tunnel. I quickly hugged Jax, he may be a big ugly brute, but he saved my ass more than once. I heard the group talking and I ran to catch up. They had been waiting for me, we heard a huge crash. I checked back to see that Jax had broken through the wood to follow Mitchell. We continued forward not finding much just water.

After walking a good few hours, or so the bells said, we decided to stop for a break. Everyone was tired and our feet soaked. We sat only for a few minutes before I heard it. Clink, bang, clink, bang. Jax. I stood quickly and motioned for everyone to get up. Jason stood and led to the group, I made sure everyone stayed out of the water to avoid noise. I stayed up by Jason to listen. If Doc or Mitchell found us, we would be dead. As we walked I listened and watched the water. The water got darker and darker until I couldn't see it, I checked but it was still there. I saw a light around the corner, the way we had to go. I had everyone stop, Celeste tried to stop me but I went to the corner and peaked around it. No one that I could see. I saw our way out, leaking. I guess it was raining, I stepped out fully into the light to check if they were hiding in the dark. I stood in the direct light for a few minutes, nothing. I went back and had everyone come to the corner, I went out first again just in case they had shown up which they hadn't. I was last up the ladder as well. When I got up there was a fence to either side of us. In between two fenced in areas. We went forward, we were in front of the building but we weren't out quite yet.

We split into teams, Marcus and Izic, Me and Celeste, and the twins. We split up, I know it was dangerous but everyone agreed that we needed to cover more ground to find a way out, we would signal if we found anything. The signal was a bird noise, so I would not be doing any signaling. Celeste and I took the west side, we walked in the grass next to the pathway, dodging trees and bushes. It was harder than walking on the path but quieter. We searched for what felt like hours. "Should we head back?" Celeste whispered quietly. I shook my head, she was mostly a shadow to me, I could barely see her. We had been holding hands to ensure we don't drift apart. We stopped for a short break, my bells started to chime and I shoved them into my stomach and covered them by bringing my knees to my chest all in one motion. It muffled them so that only Celeste and I could hear them. We stood back up and continued on. We hit a fence after a few minutes and turned to the north and continued to follow it. I looked around, the only area I could see was a fountain, which was the only thing with a light over it. The water was dark and I think I see tree limbs sticking out. I focused ahead of me. We walked for a bit longer before I stopped, I heard something. Celeste stopped and turned to me, waiting. I listened closely and heard footsteps, a few words were spoken. I can't tell who it is. I pulled Celeste to the nearest bush and we sat in silence. The footsteps grew closer, "Nothing yet." I knew the voice now. I tapped Celeste and stood up, the shadows turned towards me. "Name" quietly spoken by one of them. "You first" Celeste stood up next to me, and quietly said. I flipped my hair making my shadow bigger. "Summer, Celeste?" Dane. "Yeah, it's us." Celeste said, I felt her hand relax. "God, We thought" Jason started. "Us too" Now that we all knew who each other was we sat down. "We found nothing on our end, you?" Celeste asked, "Not a thing" Jason replied.

We agreed to wait for Marcus and Izic, if they did what we did they will come to us eventually. We sat forever, well an hour to be exact. I muffled the bells again. "Oh Summer!" Mitchell was out here too. Fuck fuck fuck. We hid behind a bush and I peaked over it. Mitchell was standing by the fountain. "Wouldn't it be a shame if two of your little escape party didn't make it?" Jax came into view carrying Izic and Marcus over his shoulder. I gritted my teeth. "Just come on out, I'll let all your friends go as long as you agree to stay and obey" He still wore the tuxedo. Doc came and stood by Mitchell, the whole gang was there. If I could speak I would curse. "If you don't then you might as well say goodbye to every single one of those freaks" I didn't trust him one bit. "Don't Summer! Just go!" for the first time in years, or so I had been told Marcus spoke perfectly. I watched as Mitchell snapped and Jax moved Marcus off his shoulder and into his hand. Marcus was tossed into the fountain, he hit his head hard. He didn't move, I covered my mouth, not like I would make a sound but still. Mitchell snapped again, next was Izic, Jax moved him onto the ground. Izic barely stayed standing, I thought he would run but no. I watched as Jax slowly clasped his hand around Izic's head and pulled until it popped off, blood dripped off his head and from his neck.
