So sometime on a cold, bleak winter's day, Wolfgang Andrew Biersack arrived in the early morning, and Andy and Scout officially had their first grandchild.
Andy just hoped they wouldn't regret naming him Wolfgang, but it was his and Bex's choice, and it had been a distant family name; that was Dennis's middle name as well. After all, the baby's middle name was after Andy himself.
After that, everything was much different. Bex and Dennis would spend so much more time at home, and Dennis had even cut back on smoking to help out some more and spend some more time with his own little family.
Andy was proud of him. Proud of the man he had become so far, and anxious about what was yet to come for him and his future.
Just as little Wolf turned a little over a half a year old, Dennis had a concert. Andy was in the crowd, and so was Scout, while Bex stayed home for a few hours to spend some time with and take care of the baby.
And this one moment at the concert was one of the special times Andy was most proud of him:
The band finished a song, causing the crowd to erupt into huge masses of cheering, screaming, and everything else anyone could imagine a happy fan's reaction would be to their favorite band's performance. As the band played some softer music in the back, Dennis -- the fans called him 'Wolf,' 'Andy Sixx 2.0,' or 'Andy Seven' (because seven came after six, or sixx in this case) -- stopped and looked out at all the fans, smiling, as if just seeing the fans out there made him happy enough.
He was just like Andy that way.
He raised the microphone, finally speaking. "How is everyone doing tonight?" he started, and he could barely finish before fans started screaming, many holding up signs like, "I love you, Avenging Angels' and 'you saved me.' It was amazing to just look out and feel the positivity, and Andy couldn't even dream up what amazingness his son was feeling at the moment.
Scout stood beside Andy, beaming, smiling bigger that she had in a long time, ecstatic that their son was getting to conquer his dreams, and do exactly what made him the most happy, and helping people, picking them back up again, connecting with them closely with his music and his love.
They couldn't be prouder parents.
"I love you, Cincinatti," Dennis continued, his face glowing. "I never thought I'd be here, right at home, and feeling this much love. It's just such an amazing feeling. And what's even more amazing, is being there for all of you!" he shouted, the look on his face matching Scout's. "I can't thank you guys enough. To my parents -- I love you, and thank you so much for picking me back up again when I was weak. Thank you to my girlfriend, Bex --" he looked back at the replacement drummer "-- who couldn't be here tonight. I love you so much. Thank you for your constant support, even on nights like this, where I have to leave. She knows how important this is to me, and to all of you."
Andy looked around the arena, filled with what must've been at least a thousand people, which was huge for a concert that wasn't apart of tour. But it was their hometown, and everyone in Cincinatti loved Avenging Angels, their most current hometown rock band. The fans would not stop cheering.
"She told me to tell you all she's sorry she couldn't be here, or any other nights she hasn't been able to, and she missed being here on the stage. But she's home, safe taking care of our beautiful, healthy baby."
Fans screamed their hearts out at this, especially the girls as they showed a ginormous picture of Wolf on the screen, his adorable little baby face smiling at everyone.
Dennis laughed. "By the way if you wanted to know, he told me to tell you all he loves you too," Dennis said, and the band laughed with the crowd. Somebody screamed, "tell Wolfie we said we love him more!"
"I will," Dennis promised. "Aside from that, I want to also thank my grandparents, my band, and anyone else I missed. The list would go on forever if I mentioned each one of you.
"So, what do you say, Angels? Let's rock!" Dennis screamed, the whole arena erupting into a huge amount of cheering and screams.
As they started another song, Andy smiled and sang along. That night was one of the best nights ever, one of the nights where everybody knew they were safe, accepted, free, and most importantly, everybody right at home.
