Gamer Day

Thomas POV

*Rumble Rumble* "Ugh too early in the morning." I grumbled, it was only 6 in the morning, I reached for my phone that was on my bedside table but unfortunately it was further away than I expected so when I reached I fell to the floor. "Whoa-!!" *THUD* "Yep that one hurt...who's texting me right now?" I stood up and picked up my phone, it was Spud and the text read. "Happy Gamer day!!" I completely forgot about Gamer day, man I should put some notes down. I texted him back saying, "What're we doing for Gamer day this time?"

I waited for a reply, I decided to check my other messages and sure enough there was one from Ruby, I read it. "Guess what Blaze said..." 'Oh boy I hope he said yes.' I said to myself, I text back. "What'd he say???" Then Spud text back.

"How about a gaming tournament between us and our friends, we make teams in Battlefield 1 and we see who is the best gamer team." The best gamer team...I like it but I hope he hasn't already asked Logan to be on his team, I wrote back, '"Sure but you get to have your friends while I have my friends AKA Logan, Parker, Brian and Blaze, deal?" Then Ruby texted back. "Blaze said YES!!!" 'I can't believe it...Ruby's gonna be living with me-'

"YAHOOO!!!" I yelled out loud, when I noticed I made the whoops face, good thing James is at work. I texted back. "Wahoo!! And also its Gamer day and Spud thought about making gamer teams on Battlefield 1 and I was thinking you and the girls could come out and cheer us on."

When I sent it off Spud text me back saying. "Deal...as long as you find one last person to be in your squad." Oh Arceus who else is there!? I wrote back. "Alright I'll find someone, see ya later." I hope I can find someone, I went down to the kitchen to make breakfast for myself then there was a knock on the door. 'Who in the heck is that?' I thought, I went over and opened the door to see a Weavile and a Amoongus in officer uniform.

"Morning officers...what can I do for you?" I asked, the Weavile took off her hat and looked down. "Mister Thomas...your brother was jumped last night...he is badly wounded and is at the hospital being treated...if we have bothered you we are sorry but he has requested that you see him immediately." I felt like I was gonna lose everything, my brother in the hospital, it's unreal!

"Yes officer I'll go in just a minute." I walked back inside and grabbed my phone and wallet, I walked out an back into my garage to get my sports bike to find they weren't there. 'What the heck?' I looked back at the officers to see their bodies going crazy.

The next thing I knew I jumped up in bed and it was 7 o'clock and I realized I fell asleep after shooting the text off to Spud. "Just a dream...whew!!" I sighed as I flopped back on my pillow then shot back up and got out of bed. "Not going through that again!"

I walked out of my room and down into the kitchen and made some oatmeal, a text came in from Ruby saying 'Yeah the girls and I will be cheering you guys on...also Spud told me you need one last person on your team...I can play if you want.' I thought about it, Ruby was able to end my kill streak before, and even beat me in a match of Battlefield.

"Sure if you were able to beat me than you can get pretty close to Logan...so yeah you can join in." I sent it to her, then a knock on the door interrupted my breakfast. 'Hopefully it ain't those cops.' I walked over and looked out of the window and there was Blaze standing there, looking quite happy, wonder why? I opened the door.

"Morning Blaze!" "Morning brother-in-law." My eyes widened. "Say wha?!" I asked in confusion, where'd that come from? "What you're dating my sister so I get to call you my brother-in-law." I was shocked, I thought he wouldn't call me that until like marriage or something.
