Snow day at the park!

Thomas POV

When we arrived at the park, I saw multiple younger Pokemon. All having fun on this snow day.

I just smiled a tiny bit, but then I saw an Empoleon staring at me. A scar over his eye just like me, but when Ruby got my attention and I looked back, he was just...gone.

Ruby noticed my odd behaviour, probably thinking that something was wrong. "You okay hun?" She asked, giving my paw a gently squeeze.

I snapped out of my small trance and nodded. "Yeah, I'll be fine. I just saw someone." I replied, a little confused on who that was.

But once we were at the top of a hill, we saw Brian and Lola. Both there with their toboggans.

"Hey Brian, and you too Lola!" Ruby said, cheerful as ever. The male Gardevoir just waved with a small grin and Lola smiled.

"Where's Linde and Lilly?" Lola asked, looking past us. "Aren't they coming?" She asked.

Ruby shook her head. "You know grass types, they don't exactly like the cold. But Linde might come is she ever finds her scarf." She explained, trying to be happy either way.

"Well that sucks, but we can always go on without them." Brian said, and I could tell that he was a little more eager to get started than usual. Which is saying something seeing as he was the laid back one.

Parker started sniffing the air. "Is that..?" He continued to follow a smell of some kind, but I also caught on and followed.

We soon came across a PokePuff cart with fresh, warm, delicious PokePuffs.

We both went looking through our pockets for our wallets.

Lets just say, we both absolutely LOVE, and I mean LOVE PokePuffs. But I wasn't addicted like Parker.

But when we both got out our wallets we both glared at each other, each wanting to get the first one.

Ruby POV

Here we go again, Parker and Thomas head to head over ..PokePuffs. When it comes to PokePuffs these two have a rivalry over who gets the first bite.

It was quite silly buuuuut I'm hoping I can break Thomas of this. But for now I'm just gonna let it happen this time.

"It's my PokePuff!" Parker shouted, pushing Thomas back with his head.

"Back off! It's mine!" Thomas shouted back, pushing his head back against Parker's.

They both growled at each other, but this was getting too far. So I just stepped past them both and bought some myself.

"No, they're mine." I said, with a slight smirk.

The two looked at me quickly and both licked their lips.

"Now, if you want these," I began, making them nod quickly. "You two have to stop fighting all the time. Over PokePuffs? That's just stupid! If it's something like a game then I don't care." I said, rather stern about it.

Thomas just tensed up, and nodded. Knowing that making me mad was a death wish.

But Parker on the other paw, was drooling over the bag of PokePuffs I had.

"Now then, Thomas gets the supreme chocolate." I said, giving Thomas the chocolate PokePuff. "And now Parker. You only get ONE for now." I said sternly, giving him one.

"But I NEED m-" "Parker, you do NOT need more. You WANT more but you only NEED one." I said, swatting his claw away from the bag. "And I mean it."

Parker grumbled quietly, eating the one he was given. A little too fast I'd say. But Thomas just enjoyed his, taking it nice and slow.

I then went back to the others, giving them each one too. "That's all for now, just enjoy what you got and then later I'll give you all another."

They all thanked me, except for Parker of course. Who I knew would try to snag another because of his addiction.

"Now then, shall we get to what we wanted to do?" I asked, setting the bag of PokePuffs down next to my purse.

Thomas chuckled quietly, finishing his PokePuff. "Of course we can." He said, grabbing the black toboggan and setting it down on the peak of the hill. "I say the heaviest go down first, just to pack down the snow."

We all looked at Parker, who looked at us nervously. "Uhhh...what?" He asked, my face just met my paw.

"Parker, you are the heaviest out of us all, so you gotta go down first." I said, making him have an embarrassed look.

"I can't be the heaviest, you all look heavier than me." He retorted, obviously thinking he was the lightest of us all.

"What are you talking about? You're the biggest one here!" Brian said, with a small grin on.

"S-Shut up Brian!" Parker shouted, and we all just laughed.

"Calm down Parker, we're just messing with you." Thomas said with a grin, obviously wanting to joke around.

Parker sighed in relief. "But if you really think I'm the heaviest one here, I'll go first." He said, grabbing his toboggan and getting ready to go down.

Once he was saw down, Thomas, Logan, and Brain all decided to push him down the hill. Just to be a little funny.

All we heard was Parker yelling with happiness, but then a slam into a tree. "Ow." We heard him say, then we all laughed.

Soon everyone was going down the hill, Logan of course being the nervous wreak he was. Needed a push down from myself and Thomas.

I soon saw an Empoleon, the same one from a while ago. It kinda freaked me out but I tried to ignore it.

But as we were going down the hill I saw Scarlet, tobogganing with a few of her friends. I kinda stared for a moment but then ignored her, feeling a little more happy that she was making friends.
Hopefully with the right people.

Linde showed up after a while and joined us for rest of our time there.

But once it was time to go, we gave Logan and Parker back their toboggan and we all went our separate ways. Of course I gave everyone their PokePuffs before we left.

As myself and Thomas were walking home, I saw the Empoleon again. But this time, he stood in front of us both.

"Its about time I got to talk to you." He said, his voice being low yet quiet. But he soon pointed at Thomas. "It's time for your training for the next tornament to commence."

Myself and Thomas were both shocked by this. To the point where I was asking myself questions on, who this guy was, or why this was happening.
