Pokemon High (Pokèmon fanfic)

Winter is here!

This will be a month after the incident with the nightmares. And so on.

Ruby POV

I woke up this morning to see snow falling from the sky in my window, I smiled happily, the first time I've seen snow in almost three years.

I took a look at my phone to find a text from Thomas. It read. "I need to talk to you about something.." When I saw the two dots at the end I knew something was wrong.

I sent back. "I'm on my way." And then I left my home, taking my purse as usual. But added a green scarf to keep my neck warm.

After a few minutes I arrived there and I saw James and Thomas, arguing about something.

All I heard was muffled curses and so on from James and then Thomas was just speaking normally.

"James I don't care! She and I made this plan almost two months ago!" I heard Thomas yell.

"I don't give a flying hell about it! She is not to be living here!" James yelled back and that's when I knew what was wrong.

I opened the door and glared at James. "R-Ruby!?" James exclaimed, surprised I was here.

"You have a problem with me living with my boyfriend?" I asked, a hint of anger in my voice.

James froze within an instant, he was trying to talk but couldn't.

"That's what I thought, Thomas and I planned this for two months now." I said crossing my arms. "If you don't trust me then tell me."

James still didn't speak, just lowering his head. "I'm sorry..." He muttered.

I sighed, flattening my ears. "James, tell me why you don't trust m-" "I do trust you..it's just I don't want Thomas to lose you."

I frowned. "Why would that happen?" I asked.

"He thinks I'll get mad enough to hurt you and then we break up." Thomas replied and I sighed.

"That won't happen." I said as I gently patted James on the head. "Trust me."

James nodded and sighed looking at the time. "I gotta head to work, you two don't have school today seeing as the amount of snow there is." He said looking out the window now.

"True, anyways get going." Thomas said before James did just that, going off.

I smiled and kissed Thomas' cheek. "What shall we do today?" I asked.

"Well I was thinking about taking you to the park today. How about it?" Thomas asked with a smile.

I nodded quickly and took ahold of his paw, taking him to the door.

He stopped me right before the door. "Hold on one minute!" He said before quickly going up to his room.

Thomas POV

I entered my room and began to look through my dresser. "Where are they? Where are they?"

That's when I found my dad's old red sweater and orange shirt. He was in the army before he disappeared so the sweater, had an insignia on the sleeves.

I put on the shirt so my chest spike was sticking out, then the sweater over it. It felt warm for once.

I jogged back downstairs and to Ruby. "How do I look?" I asked, stretching a little.

Ruby giggled. "It looks good on you. And that's saying something." She said, nudging my arm a little in a teasing matter.

I chuckled a little. "Now you say that." I replied and took ahold of her paw.

"Now are you ready?" She asked, leading me towards the door.

I nodded and followed her out the door. Locking it behind us.

"No bike today?" She asked as she looked at the garage door.

"Nope, they're in the shop getting snow tires." I replied with a small chuckle.

Ruby nodded and looked at the road. "It's been so long since I've seen snow." She said.

"I've seen it almost all the time when I was at another town." I replied, chuckling a little.

Ruby giggled and nodded. "Well should we get everyone at the park for some tobogganing?" She asked.

"Sure, but we gotta ask them if they have any as well." I said as we weren't that far from Logan and Parker's place.

Ruby nodded happily. "Of course we can! But what if they don't?" She asked, a little worried that they didn't have any.

I simply chuckled quietly. "Then we just take turns, it's that simple." I said with a small grin.

"Like...two at a time?" Ruby asked me, a small blush forming on her cheeks.

"Well.." I trailed off a little. "We can, only if they want to though." I said, just after.

Ruby nodded before she began to skip ahead, I just chuckled and slipped my paws into my pockets and walked after her.

No one's POV

In somewhere else, a certain Zoroark was watching the couple.

Instead of a glare on his face there was a small smile instead. "Those two will be an amazing couple." Zoro said before he slowly walked off into the snowy town, away from everyone.
