" Nina? Please wake up." After about five minutes she started to wake up and I was overjoyed.
" Mmm. Baek? My body hurts." She whimpered. I held her hand hoping it would help. It didn't.
" Baby im so sorry."
" Wait. I remember why I ran in the first place. Why were you texting her?" She frowned.
" Nina. I was texting her because she's Kihyuns cousin and she texted me to let me know that Kihyun is in the hospital."
" Oh my god is he okay? Please tell me he's okay." She cried.
" He's doing fine. But Nina you need to take care of yourself first. You got hurt."
" Wait what about Iris? Is she okay? How bad is she hurt?" I rubbed my thumb on the back of her hand to calm her nerves.
" She's awake but she got hurt the most. When you feel better you can see her okay?"
" No I wanna see her now." She demanded.
" Would video chat help?" She nodded her head.
" Haha okay." I grabbed my phone. I texted Ashley and he said he'd set up his laptop so they could see each other. Once he did that i got a Skype notification. I followed Ashley's Skype and then I hit call.
Nina
" Nina! How are you?" I could hear Iris. She was just a few rooms away.
" Noona! Which means older sister by the way. I missed you!"
" Same! Oh my god my nurses are talking about lunch again. Can you believe that? Like im dying over here i don't give a shit what dressing you had on your damn salad." She laughed and rolled her eyes.
" Oh my god I know. It pisses me off."
" Ooh speaking of which my lunch is here its coming your way." Sure enough a few seconds later my chicken salad on wheat rolled in here on wheels. Haha.
" What did you get for lunch?"
" Chicken salad on wheat." I gasped.
" OMG me too!" We ate our sandwiches fangirling over this and that. But eventually her screen paused.
" His laptop over heated!" We heard down the hall.
" That sucks love you Noona!"
" I know right! I love you too!"
" Well that was... Interesting." I stuck my tongue out at him. Then he did the same.
" Baek tell me... what's wrong with Kihyun?" I pleaded with my eyes for him to tell me. He sighed.
" Well his sister took him out to eat and then when she was driving some drunk guy swerved and T-boned the side of the car." He looked down.
" Baek next time you gotta tell ne. He's like a brother to me. How bad is he h-hurt?"
" He's... in a... coma." His voice broke. Tears started to form and dropped. I can't lose Kihyun when I almost lost everyone else.
" When we graduate in two weeks im going to see him."
" I had a feeling. I'll come with you cause I just don't want you to be by yourself." I smiled and nodded. I heard a knock on the door.
" Come in!" Then I saw two cute guys walk in. And when I say cute I mean like puppy cute.
" Nina these are my cousins Winwin and Ten."
" Hi nice to meet you!" Winwin smiled at me.

" I just wish we weren't meeting g on such uh... an unfortunate occasion. " Winwin whispered.
" No its okay. Im just glad we met. One day maybe we could all hang out. You guys seem so nice. I can't wait to be friends." That smiled at me. And i smiled back.
" That would be great. Come on Win lets go. It was nice to meet you Nina. Bye Baek." Win waved at us and walked out the door.
" Aww Baek your still blushing!" He blushed even more.
" Shut up." He whined and pouted. But still with a big smile on his face.
" I sorry." He smiled at me and leaned down for a kiss. Which I granted him. Ah I feel at peace now.
Ashley
" Hey uh Denis? Could I ask you something?" Iris was asleep and her dad was here visiting. She was well enough that two people could see her at the same time.
" Sure what is it?"
" Why did we get told that Kenzie and her family were in jail but they weren't?"
" Well I found out that one of our officers told a lie. Well he had a reason to. Kenzie had a knife to his wife and 4 year old daughters throat. Now he did lie. I fired him for putting my family in danger."
" You should hire him again." I whispered.
" Wait what?"
" I've seen the pain that they have caused. I don't want anyone else's life destroyed when Kenzie messed it up in the first place. Trust me I've witnessed it. And its not pleasant." He nodded. I honestly felt bad for the man.
" Okay I will hire him again. He's a good man." I nodded. There was just one more thing I was concerned about.
" Denis? Will I get in trouble for... killing that guy?" I whispered. I didn't want Iris to hear any of this.
" No Ashley you acted in self defense. And trust me if you hadn't I would have." I nodded.
" Okay good. I don't wanna be away from her ever again." I held her hand. She smiled in her sleep. God I can't wait to marry her. She's all mine. Im so lucky.
So guys as you may know my book The Morticians Daughters hit 1000 reads last night so I will be posting all day! And hopefully finish some stories I've neglected for a while. Oh and that thing about nurses talking about lunch it really does piss me off. There are people who need attention and care and all you care about is lunch. Correct me if im wrong. But if you go in a hospital or doctors office just listen to the gossip. Some nurses are like that not all of them but it still makes ne mad.
