Chapter 8

"Of course I'd know my daughter's name."

Kaitlyn's eyes widened in disbelief. "There's no fucking way." She stepped away from the beautiful goddess. "Stop fucking joking with me."

Part of Kaitlyn wanted to believe her, but the other part hated the idea of having someone new get into her life, let alone become her mother.

"It's true." The Queen replied with a soft, warm voice. "We can get a DNA test if you want."

"Yes." Kaitlyn said rapidly. "Yes I would like to test my DNA."

As the Queen snapped her fingers the door opened, two men entered wearing white coats, similar to ones the doctors wear.

After taking both DNAs from the Queen and the girl, the men exit the room to examine them.

"Until they show you, I'm your mother. How about you tell me about your life?" The woman suggested to Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn simple shook her head right and left, as she was extremely nervous. Suddenly, the doors started opening, white smoke lingered around the room, as the two doctors came back with results.

"This fast?" Kaitlyn asked.

"It's easy to look into a vampire's DNA." The Queen taught her. The two men nodded and scooted their way to Kaitlyn, where they showed her the results. Her eyes widened and shifted to the beautifully seated queen.

"You...are my mother?" Her finger slowly made its way to point at the queen in terror.

"Yes, yes I am. I told you." The Queen reassured her. Kaitlyn then stepped backwards slowly, mouth wide open. A tear formed and fell down her cheek. She wiped it and started running towards the door, the queen stood up as a reaction but then sat down again and gestured for the two men, Jin and Jungkook, to go after her.

Both of them started to run after her in the thousand hallways, she didn't cry very loudly which made it harder for them to find her.

After what seemed like hours they stopped her sitting in the end of the hallway, knees hugged to her chest. Her face showed no expression, as they walked closer he mouth slightly open.

"Kaitlyn?" Both asked in one voice.

"Why? If I was her daughter why did she leave me to live in hell?!" Her voice gradually became louder. "Doesn't it hurt to know someone who should've loved you and cared for you, throw you away?! Like some piece of trash?!" Tears were starting to form and fall.

"How can I trust her now? How can I know she won't throw me again? I'm scared." Kaitlyn added, her face displayed all her pain.

The boys stayed silent as they felt pity, she looked at them one last time before pushing them out of her way and walking off.

Jungkook walked after her followed by Jin.

"Do you want to go to your room?" JungKook's voice echoed through the room.

"Yes." She answered shortly and waited for them to lead the way.

"I'll go with her Jin, you can go back to Namjoon."

"There are more of you?" She questioned and sighed not wanting to deal with anymore people for the rest of her life.

"Yes, now follow me." Jungkook answered as he resumed walking.

They both walked in silence, no sound could be heard except their footsteps which made the scene awkward, but they managed to reach Kaitlyn's room.

"Jungkook?"

"Yes?"

"May I please borrow a knife?"

"No, Jimin told me about how dangerous you are I'm not taking chances."
