Chapter 15

"Another day, another reason to fuck up life." Kaitlyn yawned as she arose from the bed. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, and stretched.

As her routine came to an end, Kaitlyn left her room and strolled down stairs to where everyone was, ready for breakfast.

Her lips formed a smile, realizing that she was back with her who made her happy.

"Good morning." Her voice echoed through the silence as some of them still hadn't processed the thought of her being back.

As they replied, Kaitlyn took a seat right in between Jungkook and Namjoon. Jungkook spared her glances whilst smiling, his heart at ease. Jin, the one who had been adding the final touches of the breakfast he had made, served the food and sat on the table. The aroma filled up her nostrils, making her even more eager to dig in. All the boys along with the girl started eating and talking about whatever their mouths would let out.

After finishing, they put their dishes into the dishwasher and head to their rooms to change into their normal everyday clothes.

Kaitlyn and Jin however, were still in the kitchen refreshing themselves with a glass of orange juice.

"Well, now that you're magically back, do you want me to introduce you to the other vampires that roam around this place?" Jin broke the silence.

Kaitlyn's head tilted as she raised her eyebrow, mouth full of juice. After swallowing she answered, "I thought it was only you guys in the house...?" Her reply leaned into a question.

"We are, but this house is just a small part of a huge castle. The queen lives with us since we're the closest to her." Jin explained. "And she likes us the most." He added whilst chuckling lightly.

"Well, I don't see a reason as to why not. Sure." Kaitlyn smiled. Jin thought her rude attitude had come to an end, which was pleasant to think of. But really she just changed to the people whom she loved, since the girl didn't want to be a burden to them. Her attitude however, was still there, but only to the people who she didn't trust yet.

"Do you mind me asking, how people's lives are here? Is it any different from the human culture?" Kaitlyn asked in curiosity.

"Nope." Jin answered giving significance to the p. "We work normally here, in coffee shops at malls. We eat the same things except that most of the times it's mixed in with blood, there are small houses outside of this castle, there are roads, there are malls, markets, forests, beaches." He caught himself from going for too long realizing he has already said enough.

Kaitlyn nodded understanding. "How about you guys? What do you work as?"

Jin put his glass that was now empty into the dishwasher along with the other China and so did Kaitlyn. "Oh we don't work, since we're the closest to the queen and she likes us, she just showers us with money."

"Wow..." Kaitlyn cooed, she was glad they didn't have to work for anymore like her mother to get money like her. Let alone getting whipped and hit.

The boys came down each wearing different outfits which showed off their personalities.

"I'll go introduce Kaitlyn to some other vampires in this castle, do you guys want to tag along?" Jin asked earning an agreement from the other members. Kaitlyn smiled and headed up stairs to change into her clothes and so did Jin.

Opening her closet, Kaitlyn found that they had put new clothes for her. She picked the first one her eyes payed on. A pink hoodie along with ripped jeans (Media). The girl thought vampires all had dark, depressing clothes, but she was wrong as almost her outfits were colorful.

On her vanity table where also makeup boxes that still weren't open. She normally wouldn't bother putting make up on but since it was her first time meeting people out of this house, she might as well make a good first impression. Her makeup wasn't heavy, in fact it was too light and natural which matched with the colors of her clothes.

Somehow satisfied, Kaitlyn made her way downstairs were all the boys were. The group then head to the front door where they left the house.

Kaitlyn's vision wandered in awe around the huge castle. There were many stories, and on every story there were many houses. Almost looking like a huge shopping mall except the shops were houses. Their house was in the middle, and was the most decorated on the outside, since it was the queen's house.

Kaitlyn then realized that the boys had been walking ahead of her and were starting to get far, except Jin who was trying to wake her up from her thoughts.

"Let's go." Jin said lightly chuckling before gently holding the girls hand so she wouldn't stay behind anymore. They went down a couple of stories introducing her to their friends and relatives.

"This is Byun Baekhyun, one of our closest friends." Taehyung smiled wrapping an arm around him. He had similar features to Taehyung, Kaitlyn almost mistook them for brothers.

There were names for every family like in the human culture of course. For instance, the family she was living with was called BTS.

"EXO are out working but once they come back I'll be sure to visit so I could introduce you to them." Baekhyun smiled innocently, his pearly white teeth in display.

They all bowed to each other before leaving to go back to their homes. "These were some of the people that we knew, most of them are out working as Baekhyun said." Yoongi explained, which earned a nod from the girl.

Upon entering their house another man stood in front of the door. "You didn't introduce her to me." A tall male ran his finger along Kaitlyn's jaw. Her emotion turned into disgust and so did the boys'.

"Fuck o-"

"Get lost Se Jun, you're not wanted here." Jungkook spoke obviously furious. The only guy who BTS despised on Kaitlyn knowing was him, Se Jun. He was known for disobeying the queen, and ruining people's lives with just words that flow out of his mouth. The only reason he had not been kicked out of the kingdom yet is because he threatened to expose the Vampire kingdom.

"Why are you so against me little boy?" Se Jun replied to the irritated boy. Both Jimin and Kaitlyn glared at him whilst the other boys gave him disgusted looks.

"If you don't leave I'll tell the queen to lock you up in the basement forever." Hoseok spit out in anger.

"Fine, fine." Se Jun rolled his eyes knowing that they dominate over him with the queen.

With that, everyone entered the house and went to do chores or play.
