Both of them walked happily, acting as nothing had just happened. Tears still stained their faces, but they chose to ignore it, because it represented the pain they had just let out.
"They're in here." Jungkook simply said before opening a door that was already slightly open, voices filled Kaitlyn's ear as she looked around.
Two boys were fighting over an xbox controller while Jin tried to separate them. Jungkook had caught Kaitlyn's eye sight looking at the three boys.
"That's Taehyung, and that's Hoseok." He pointed at the two boys currently having their ears pinched by Jin. She giggled slightly before diverting her vision to two other boys, one of them was sleeping and the other was sitting beside him aimlessly.
"I see you've noticed Jimin and Yoongi. The one sleeping is Yoongi the other is Jimin." He informed her. "Jimin likes to hang around Yoongi."
"What about him?" She pointed at a guy, who looked to be scrolling through his phone, sighing here and there.
"That's Namjoon, he's addicted to his phone." Jungkook slightly smiled before continuing. "I am too." He then proceeded to take his phone out, playing with it between his fingers.
It was about fifteen minutes until the boys had noticed she was in the room, if Jin hadn't told them, they would've taken a day.
"Hello I'm-" Hoseok was cut off by her.
"I know, Jungkook told me."
"Well, I already know you Kaitlyn." He smiled widely at her, it could melt her heart if it was existent. She jokingly rolled her eyes, while Hoseok formed an offended expression.
"Well since we're done here you can go outside, meet up with your friends or some shi- shizzle." Jin informed dropping himself into a couch.
Kaitlyn smiled and slightly nodded, turning around and walking out of the room. She sighed in relief, standing still for seconds. Then the girl strolled all the way to her room, only to be surprised by her phone set on the bed.
"I didn't realize I forgot it." She approached it and concentrated her vision at the small sticky note stuck to the screen.
"You forgot something back at your old home, so I decided to bring it to you. You're welcome.
-Jk"She smiled but that soon broke down once she opened her messages. Kaitlyn was no stranger to fake friends or backstabbing, so one would think it wouldn't hurt her. But she was already demolished.
The group chat,
Lea
Where's Kaitlyn she hasn't talked, normally she talks a lot...Chloe
I don't know, she hadn't even wished a happy birthday.Kaitlyn sighed deeply reading it, she couldn't even remember it was her now-ex-friend's birthday because of all the chaos.
Ryan
I keep calling her, but she never picks up. Is she possibly ignoring me?Riley
I would see that happening since she's a bitch after all. Basically why I don't invite her to my shit.Lea
Chill, she's still in the group.Riley
She had ignored us for the past day, can't we ignore the fact that she's here?Lea
I don't disagree.Chloe
Can you be less confusing? And then the chat went on, insulting Kaitlyn as if they were never her friends. The broken girl squeezed the phone in her hand, because of the anger, betrayal, and the sadness she felt.
The trouble went on, first, she lost her mother. And now, she had lost all the people whom she thought loved her.
Anger filled her eyes and mind as she stared into the insults they had thrown carelessly at her. She was truly cold, but it wouldn't mean she didn't feel emotions. A frustrated shout escaped her lips as she threw the phone on the wall, shattering it into pieces.
She heard the boys call out for her on the other side of the door. Kaitlyn opened the door to be met by a concerned look on everyone's face, especially Jungkook. Pushing them all away, she, getting lost in some hallways, made her way out of the place.
The girl needed some fresh air, to clear her thoughts and mind of all the bad things that had happened to her and are still happening. But that was quickly disrupted, as she had arrived at a park she and Kaitlyn and her friends used to hang out at, and today was no exception. All her friends were there.
She watched them as they laughed, and had fun. "I could've been there..."
A tear made its way down her cheek.
Riley, the girl she had loved so dearly to play with, turned her back simply. Kaitlyn couldn't just stand there and watch, her eyes were getting more red than her boiling blood. She approached them as they all looked at her, coldly.
"I'm sorry." These words flowed out of Kaitlyn's mouth, they were filled with emotions, unlike her friends' faces. She shouldn't be the one apologizing, you'd think after all they had said, she would hate them. Kaitlyn loved them too much and cherished them that she would do anything to keep them.
"You shouldn't say sorry, you did nothing wrong." Chloe said, with a fake uplifting voice. Yet, Kaitlyn didn't hate it. She was glad she could talk to her again, even if they hated her, she needed them.
Desperate bitch.
They all went back to talking and laughing, Kaitlyn stood their admiring their voice and getting ignored by them.
"Can we sit down somewhere? I'm getting tired." Kaitlyn complained playfully. Riley looked at her then back at her friends, acting though she hadn't heard anything that was said by the other girl.
Kaitlyn decided to ignore the amount of sadness that filled her heart. She didn't for long, her friends started walking away; all beside each other forming a straight horizontal line, but of course Kaitlyn was walking behind them.
Their shadows covered her as they laughed infront of her and she followed them. After hopelessly following them hoping one would notice, she gave up.
