Chapter 1
ALI'S POV
I don't know if it's good to be back at school or not. It's not because, well, it's school. The perks of going to the best bording school that's right on the beach is I get to see my friends, my boyfriend every day and this is my junior year meaning I only have one more year left of highschool before o leave California and go to new York to become a musician, just as I always wanted to be. I know there are about a million people on this planet trying to aspire their own dreams of being a musician, so it'll be hard trying to get discovered but I gotta at least try before I'm forced to work in my aunts fashion line. She wants to leave it to me so it'll still be in the family. I've never been too fashionably creative but she just told me to get inspired by my music.
I've been living with my aunt for as long as I can remember. My mom left my dad and me when I was about 3. My dad had to work really late to provide for us. He worked two jobs. One night while he was driving home, a drunk truck driver just smashed into his little old Toyota Camery. He died that night. I was about 5. His sister took me into her care. God bless her soul. I don't know what i wouldve done if she wasn't there.
"ALI! ALI!" I hear my best friend, Aria call out. She has a tendence to yell my name across campus a lot. But I still love her. She's been my best friend/ roommate ever since freshmen year. Her dyed red hair is shining in the September sun. She always dresses in bright colors and is always happy.
As she is running up to hug me, I see her boyfriend, Liam walk up behind her. He is pretty good looking. He has black hair and piercing blue eyes. He is tall and pretty muscular. Don't think I'm moving up on her man. I got my own, which might I mention I haven't seen around.
"ALI!" Aria exclaims as she bear hugs me.
"Hey!" I reply.
"I have SO much to tell y.." she trails off.
"Umm are you okay?" I ask.
I look over my shoulder to see where she was looking. She was looking at Zac Sanderson, the most popular guy at Malibu Bording School. He is looking straight at me with a smirk plastered across his face. He has brown hair and his eyes were the deepest color of blue I've ever seen. He's a cocky ass though. All the girls drool over him.
I roll my eyes and turn back to Aria, who was now walking away hand in hand with Liam. I swear they better get married one day. They love each other so much. Speaking of love, I try calling my boyfriend, Sean, one more time. Straight to voicemail.
"Hey babe. It's me. You should really answer your phone. I haven't seen you yet and I miss you so call me back. I love you."
When I turn around to head to housing to pick up my room key, I run into something hard, or should I say someone who obviously has too much muscle.
" I'm sorry..." I say, as I look up to see who I ran into, it was Zac.
"Don't worry about it." he replies, with a smirk.
As I try getting past him, he steps in front of me. When I try to go the other way, he comes in front of me again.
"Excuse me." I say shyly with a small smile.
He smiles back and moves to one side and I make my way past him. HOW AWKWARD! I walk to housing, trying to forget what just happened.
When I get there, I find out I'm in a room with Aria and my other beat friend, Alexandria, (a.k.a Alex). Since all our names start with A's we call ourselves the Triple A's. But not in public. It's our little secret. Yeah, we're lame but it's okay.
When I leave housing, I see Sean. He is the perfect boyfriend. He is hot, trustful and faithful, also funny. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
"Hey" I say with a smile as I walk up to him.
"Hey babe" he replies.
"I've been calling you but you never picked up."
"Yeah, sorry I was unpacking. Forgive me?" he says wit a innocent smile.
"I don't know...I have to think about it..." he kisses me before I could finish what I was saying.
"Forgiven." I say as I pull him back to me for another kiss.
When we pull away, he takes my bags and carries them to my room. What a gentleman.
ZAC'S POV
Why have I not noticed her before? I feel sorta stupid for it. She's so damn cute. Her brown hair enhances her green eyes and her dimples when she smiles, damn. Her outfit shows off her body and man, she's hot.
The sight of my girlfriend, Chloe, snaps me out of whatever daze she put me in. Chloe is head cheerleader and I am quarterback of the football team. So it was only time before we got together.
"Zac! Where have you been?! There's a party tonight after the banquet and I wanted to hang out wit you before." Chloe says.
"Sorry babe. My phone must be dead." I say as I lean in to kiss her. Chloe has blonde hair and blue eyes. She looks pretty tan. I guess it's cause she spent the entire summer at her house in Hawaii. I barely saw her this summer.
"You better be. You owe me...later." she says with a wink. "Okay I'm going to go get settled then come by and get me okay?"
"Okay." I kiss her again as she walks away.
When I turn around I see my mystery girl again. She walks out of housing. I stare at her and smile, until I see some guy kiss her. Woah, what is that feeling? Jealousy? I'm never jealous. I don't even know her and she already got me jealous? Ahh this is going to be a long year.
