Chapter Seven
ALI'S POV
"Ali...Alison...ALI!" Aria says as she shakes me trying to wake me up. "GET UP! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!"
I honestly couldn't care less. I hadn't slept no more than three hours last night. "Leave me alone." I mumble, not even raising my head off my pillow to look at her.
"C'mon Ali. Stop being stubborn." Aria says.
"Aria, forget it. Just leave her. Obviously she's not coming. Let's go, I have to go meet with Zac and this is just killing my time." Alex says impatiently.
Alex's voice just angers me. I don't know why but I get so mad that I just spring out of bed with so much attitude.
"So sorry that I'm wasting your precious time with your boytoy." I say sarcastically.
"What's your problem?" Alex fights back. "Are you mad at me because I get to see my guy unlike your MIA so-called boyfreind?"
Oh hell no. Did she really stoop that low to mention that? "Wow, Alex, real mature. Way to stoop so low as to bring my ex into this!" I yell.
That shut her up. Her face turned red and only one word came out of her mouth. "Ex?"
"Yes. Ex. Now, in case you both were wondering, I broke up with him last night at like three in the morning and I've barely slept so if you two just left me alone, I would've LOVED to go back to sleep. But seeing as my sleep has escaped me, I guess I have no choice but drag myself through the day with three hours of sleep. So thank you, both!" I say as I grab my bathroom supplies, clothes and make up as I leave the room and go to the bathroom to wash up.
I look in the mirror, and am delightedly surprised that the remaining makeup from last night had smuged all over my face. I quickly brush my teeth, wash my face, pull my hair into a messy ponytail and apply my makeup. I quickly change into my jeans shorts and white flowy top and adjust my lucky necklace my dad bought for me when I was four. It's a music note made of diamonds. He raised enough money to finally buy it for me. Of course over the years I had to change of chain. I look in the mirror and am impressed that I don't look like a complete mess. I put on my pink flats and zoom out of the bathroom.

When I come back to the room, I find Aria and Alex standing exactly where they were when I left. I throw my bag over my shoulder.
"Well, are we going or what?" I say, breaking the silence.
Aria steps towards me and pulls me into a hug. "I'm so sorry about you and Sean. Why didn't you tell us?"
"I didn't want to wake you up in the middle of the night." I say. "And it's not important."
"Yes it is. You guys have been together for a year and you just broke up and you're saying it's no big deal?" Alex says. "I'm so sorry for being a complete and total witch. I didn't know and I'm sorry if I rubbed it in your face about me and Zac."
I force out a smile. "It's okay. Just forget it ever happened. Now let's go. I didn't get up for no reason."
***
I walk into my English and walk up to the desk next to Zac, who is sitting on his desk. He's busy looking at something on his phone. It must be important because by one look at his face, you can tell he looks worried. He's wearing a white fitted, but not too fitted, t-shirt with khaki colored board shorts. I can't help myself but look him up and down.
