u and ur bestfriend Bea were at home and u were on ur phone scrolling through twitter when u read a tweet and just threw ur phone on the carpet and sank into the couch

"what's wrong with u" Bea said and u just sighed "Emery Kelly is what's wrong with me" u said showing her the picture he posted and the tweet reading "me and my boo chilling luv her so much"

"uhhhhh Bea I'm done with this like what's why does he always fall for girls like Bailey, wait  don't answer that of course he likes her she's gorgeous and a star when I'm average and meekly a singer" u said and Bea looked at u with that face like she was going to give u the usual talk

"listen y/n i know u think Emery is amazing and the perfect guy for u but if he cant see how amazing u are on ur own then maybe he's not the one" she said and u just kept feeling sad "well that's easy for u to say u have a boyfriend Ricky, my fricking brother for gods sake i mean why isn't emery perfect he's knows me since i was little and he's sweet, kind and makes time fly by he's adventurist and just a love of a person" u said and then wiped the tear threatening to fall from ur cheek

"well u know what I'm done with him ur right Bea i need to move on show him that i don't need him at all" u said and regained ur confidence still feeling kind of sad and kept going with ur day

 a few days later u posted a photo on  Instagram of u and ur old high school friend at the park holding hands and captioned it "hanging out with him"

Emery's pov

i was in the car with Ricky, Liam and Veronica scrolling though Instagram when Ricky started laughing

"no way are they hanging out like no just no" he said and i looked at him confused "what's up Ricardo"

and he just sighed "go on Y/n Instagram and check her recent" he said so i went on y/n page and saw a photo of her and some guy holding hands on a swing "wait whos that guy" Liam asked reading  my mind "well that guys my friends is Andrew Evens me him and y/n all went to high school together" Ricky explained "yeah back then he had a huge crush on y/n and wanted to date her but since he was a player i told him to never look at my sister i mean she is my sister" he said and i felt a unfamiliar feeling in my stomach like a ting of hurt

"well i mean he is hot" Veronica said as she looked at the photo "its good that y/n finally found someone and isn't just stuck to one person" she said and Liam nodded agreeing "yeah i mean if he couldn't see that she was head over heels for him then he's  just blind" he said and i shook my head confused "wait who are u guys talking about" i asked confused

"boy are u dumb or are u dumb" Ricky said and i looked at him surprised I really don't know" i said and then Liam turned to veronica and said "can i slap him please just to see if he gets some type of sense" he asked and veronica smiled "if u don't i will slap him" he said and Liam slapped me across the head "HEY THAT HURT" i said and he smiled "good its supposed to now do u have any idea who y/n liked" and i shook my head "nope no clue" then Ricky clearly feed up with the situation said "ITS YOU SHES IN LOVE WITH U" he said an di almost gasped "why are u lying no she's not" i said then veronica stepped in "yes she is she treats u like ur her boyfriend and u just never noticed" she said and i just shook my head no "its not true she's just friendly" i said defending my case "dude she fricking hates it when u talk about other girls but in fact she's the only one of ur friends who goes to any of our shows" he said and it all made sense

"wait so ur saying that y/n liked me like me and i never knew and now i may be too late" i said as if this is a shocking revelation which it is to me "yeah but its not like u like her so were good" Ricky said and i shok my head again "what would u say if i did like her" i said and all three of them gasped and smirked and grinned before Liam spoke up "i would tell u to get the hell out of here and go get ur girl" he said and everyone agreed
