Starbucks and guitars

"Happy Birthday Addie " my mom said and i just smiled "thanks mom" i said giving her a hug and taking the stack of pancakes that she had in her hands and kissed her cheeks before setting the pancakes on the counter and leaving grabbing my guitar and taking my keys and leaving 

i got in my car and drove for 5 minutes humming happy birthday to me to my self before getting to the park and going to my usual spot under my tree i have been coming to this tree since i was 5 and it was how i wanted to spend my 17th birthday me my tree and my guitar the original 3 

now guitar is my 3rd instrument i play the piano and flute and now i'm close to perfecting the guitar so i sat under the tree and started playing some cords until i got to a mixture of repeating cords that i liked and started making up words to go with it before i just started making random chords and messing around having a little fun i opened my guitar and a flyer flew out of it before i could catch it it wasn't anything important to me so i didn't see it as a big deal i got up and left the tree and went to Starbucks a few miles away from the park where i was 

i got their and ordered my cotton candy frappe (what i'm a kid at heart no judging) and after ordering and paying i went to find a table only to see their none left i saw a vacant table a few feet away and Quickly sat their before anyone else grabbing my book from my guitar case i opened it to the 3rd to last chapter and started reading before they called my name for my drink 

"ADDIE"the barista said and i got up and got my brink and sat down quietly reading 

"hey can we sit here" i was asked a few seconds later and i looked up and saw 3 cute guys about my age but totally out of my league "sure" i said smiling a little and let them use the chair next to me which the blue eyes one took and mouthed thank u 

"so u play guitar" one of the 3 said who didn't leave with the others "yeah i do well i try" i said finally closing my book and examining the bark haired pale boy he had a gamer type feel to him idk if it was the messy hair or the beanie but he looked like in inside person like me "well i do too i'm Liam" he said extending his hand for me to shake "Addie" i said and he smiled "And these 2 goofballs are Ricky and Emery" he said pointing to the green and fellow brown eyes boy who came behind him with smiles "guys this is Addie" Liam said and they smiled saying hey at the same time i smiled and we started talking for a long time becoming close friend over simple things all over a cup of coffee and the fellow love of music
