Alexis' POV
"Thanks," I said. As I put the holster on my pants with the gun. I followed Morgan to a room marked Conference Room. "Oh."
"What's the case?" asked Morgan as we sat down. Hotch handed us a file. "A cult targeting the FBI?"
"Yeah," said JJ.
"Which means we have to leave," I said.
"Yes," said Prentiss nodding no. "Do you understand?"
"Yes," I said.
"Time to go guys," said Hotch looking at the cameras. "Seems like we're being let off the case."
"Let's go," said Morgan grabbing my hand. "We gotta walk to our car." I followed Morgan. We walked a couple of blocks. "Just a few more blocks."
"Morgan," I said. "My feet hurt."
"Okay," said Morgan as he picked me up bridal style. "Here we go." Morgan walked a couple more blocks and put me in the passenger seat. "There." He got in the drivers seat. We put on our seatbelt and he started driving. "I love you way too much."
"Thanks for carrying me," I said.
"You're welcome," said Morgan as his phone rang. "It's Garcia." He picked up. "You're on speaker, Garcia."
"Morgan, oh thank goodness," said Garcia.
"What?" I asked.
"One of our suburban SUV's blew up," said Garcia.
"Is anyone else hurt?" I asked.
"You guys are the first I called," said Garcia. "Stay on the line while I call Prentiss."
"Hello," said Prentiss. "Rossi is at the station with Reid. Police station."
"Okay," said Morgan. "Call JJ."
"Hello, you've reach Agent Jennifer Jareau," said JJ's voice mail. "Please leave a message and I'll get back with you later."
"I'll call when I know more," said Morgan as he hung up. "Well, that's great. It's either JJ or Hotch. Morgan and I stopped when we got to a barricade. "Come on."
"What happened?" I asked as we got out of the car. The bomb squad was there and they stopped us. "Oh god."
"We gotta get back there," said Morgan.
"Sorry, you can't," said a large guy.
"Please help us!" yelled Hotch. "Please."
"Morgan," I said.
"Marine corp right? What happened to never leave a man behind?" asked Morgan. "Remember that?"
"That's our boss back there," I said.
"Go on," said the guy.
"Come on," I said.
Morgan's POV
Alexis and I ran to Hotch and Wendy. We kneeled down. "Kid get behind the barricade," I said. "Can we carry her?"
"No, no," said Hotch. "I tried."
"She's passed out," said Alexis. "I wish I had different shoes."
"Your feet hurt?" asked Hotch. She nodded. "Get used to it."
"Morgan," said Alexis.
"Listen to him," I said as my phone rang. "Talk to me."
"I can see you're with Hotch," said Garcia.
"I'm with him," I said.
"The bomber is with you," said Garcia. "He's the unsub."
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm watching the survellience feed," said Garcia.
"Okay," I said as I hang up. "Hotch, it's the kid."
"Go," said Hotch.
"Let's go," I said as we got up. "Hey!" He started running and we ran after him. He ran into a substation. "Show your face you son of a bitch." We got out our gun and walked into the empty subway car. We searched with our gun in front of us. We kept searching the long subway. We got off the subway and onto the tracks. "I know you're in here kid. Show me your face you coward. You have no where to run. There's nothing down here for you."
"Is that all you see?" asked the guy walking on the tracks barefoot. "Darkness?"
"Hands on your heads and get off the tracks you son of a bitch," I said. He was going to step off the track. "No, no, no." I grabbed Alexis and pulled her to the floor. I shielded her. "Shit." We got up. "Come on." We put our gun up and walked out of the station. We got into our SUV and drove to the hospital because Alexis got a call from Hotch. We walked in and strapped our vest on. We met up with the team. "What's going on?"
"There's a bomb," said Hotch. "Somewhere in the building."
"I think I have an idea where it is," said Reid. "A room."
"Morgan," said Alexis. I followed her to a corner. "Basement. Ambulance."
"You could be right," I said. "Let's go find the ambulance."
"We die, we die together," said Alexis. We walked down to the basement parking and looked around. We found the ambulance. "We gotta get it out of here." I started the ambulance. "Let's go."
"Right," I said. I put on my earpiece and floored it. "Garcia!"
"Why does it always have to be me?" asked Garcia. "Why do you have to do this?"
"Alexis?" I asked. "Go. Keep me on the line. Go."
