Chapter 5

Alexis' POV

"Morgan," I said.

"Go!" Morgan yelled at me.

"No," I said.

"Go!" yelled Morgan. He opened the door and kicked me out. "Sorry!"

"Alexis?" asked Garcia over the earpiece.

"Garcia," I said standing up. "He kicked me out."

"I'm connecting you to him right now," said Garcia.

"Morgan?" I asked.

"Yoy know what you are to me?" asked Morgan.

"Don't do this Morgan," I said.

"I'm sorry baby," said Morgan.

"No," I said. I saw the ambulance blow up and I turned my back to shield myself from the debris. I turned back around to look at the scene. "Oh god." I started tearing up. "Morgan?" Tears rolled down my cheek. "Morgan?"

"Alexis," said Morgan. I smiled and crying tears of joy. "You wanna know what you are to me?" I saw him stand up. "You're my baby girl." I ran up to him and hugged him. "I'm okay baby girl."

"I love you," I said as I hugged him.

"Let's go home," said Morgan. We walked to the hospital and took the SUV to the station. We walked back in. "Hey guys."

"Thank goodness you're okay," said JJ giving us a group hug. "I heard what happened."

"We're okay," I said. "At least I am. Aside from a bruise."

"You're going to be fine," said Morgan hugging me.

"I know," I said.

"Plane," said Hotch. "Let's go." We took out SUVs to the airport and got on the plane. "Well, I'm really surprised that you guys took out a bomb all by yourself."

"Give Garcia credit as well," said Morgan. "She gave us the location."

"Like I said," I said. "Aside from the big bruise on my butt." We started landing. "I'm glad we're home."

"Hello my lovely crime fighters," said Garcia popping up on the scene. "Get to the station fast. We got another case."

"Thanks," said Morgan. We got into the SUV. "You're already in all the action."

"Seems like I'm not getting any sleep," I said as we got to the BAU. We walked straight to the conference room. "Ugh."

"What's the case?" asked Hotch.

"Where is Prentiss and Reid?" I asked.

"Uh oh," said Garcia. "They are captured."

"Hurry Garcia," said JJ.

"Okay. Church, on the outskirts of town," said Garcia. "Go."

"Thanks," I said. We got to the location. "Okay."

"Ready?" asked Hotch. "I sent Prentiss a message. At three am, we will go underground to get them."

"That's in fifteen," I said.

"Exactly," said Hotch. "You, Alexis, and Rossi go."

"Let's go," I said. We found the underground tunnel. I followed Rossi and Morgan in and the police followed me. We got out our gun. I saw Prentiss. "Hey." I gave her a hug. "Where's Reid?" The kids and women followed the police out. "Prentiss?" She didn't answer. "Emily?!"

"Reid is still in the chapel," said Prentiss.

"Morgan," I said.

Morgan's POV

"We gotta get you out of here," I said.

"No, no," said Prentiss. "We gotta get Reid."

"No Prentiss. I will get Reid," I said. "Get the people out of here."

"Morgan?" asked Alexis.

"Go with Rossi," I said.

"Alexis, come on," said Rossi.

Alexis' POV

"No," I said. Morgan ran up to the floor level. "No." I went after Morgan but Rossi tried to stop me. It didn't work. I got to the chapel. "Reid."

Morgan's POV

"You okay kid?" I asked.

"Yeah," said Reid. "I'm fine."

"Hey sweetie, we gotta get you out of here," I said. "Jessie, come on. Let's get you out of here sweetheart." She picked up the detonator. "Oh no."

"Run!" yelled Reid. We ran out the door and the building blew up. I was on top of Alexis covering her from the debris as the building fell on top of us. I was able to get up and help her up. I also helped Reid. "Thanks."

"Let's go," I said.

We walked back to the group. "Thank god you guys are okay," said Prentiss.

"I thought I told you to go with Rossi," I said.

"You did but I didn't listen," said Alexis.

"You're so stubborn," I said.

"But you love me," said Alexis. We got into the SUV and went back to the BAU. We met in the bullpen. "Okay." She sat down. "What now?"

"I got a date," said Prentiss.

"A date?" I asjed. "With who?"

"My hot tub and you're not invited," said Prentiss.

"Oooo," I said and slapped myself.

"Morgan, just stop talking," said Alexis.

"You guys can go home and sleep," said Hotch.

"Thank you," said Alexis.

"Come on," I said. We got into the SUV and I drove us home. We walked through the front door and I locked it behind us. "Home."

"Good night," said Alexis as she walked up to her room.

"Night," I said. I went to my room and got in bed. I fell asleep. Months went by fast and it was already the middle November on a Thursday. "Ugh." I got out of bed. I took a shower and got dressed. I smelled corssaints. "Hm." I followed the smell down to the kitchen and there was Alexis cooking. "A girl that can cook."

"Hey," said Alexis. "I wondered when you were going to get up." She put the corrsaints on the table. "I didn't know how many you wanted so I made five."

"That's fine," I said.

"Yeah, well, I gotta go change for work," said Alexis. "You make sure to eat."

"Oh, I will," I said.
