Chapter 16

Alexis' POV

"Yeah," I said. "Of course."

"Do you know what to do Abby?" asked Morgan handing Lily to her. "Careful."

"She's been helping me since you've been out," I said.

"Just don't get yourselves killed," said Abby. "I want Lily to have her parents there for her."

"Don't worry," I said handing her the diaper bag. "We'll be fine." Abby left with Lily. "I'm back."

"Yay," said Garcia.

"Welcomje back," said Hotch.

"Thanks," I said.

10 YEAR REUNION

"Sorry Hotch took your job from you," said Morgan.

"I gotta go," I said. "Abby is watching the kids. Bye." I got on the plane. A few hours I landed. I took a cab to Northside. "Just in time." I walked into the auditorium and put my name tag on. I smoothed out my dress. "Okay. Brittany." I gave her a hug. "Hey."

"You're here and still look great," said Brittany. "Kids? Husband?"

"Yeah," I said. I showed her a picture of me, Morgan, and two kids. "9 and 3."

"Aw," said Brittany. "So cute."

"Derek Morgan is the father," I said. I glanced at the stage and I saw Morgan. "He's here." I ran on stage and hugged him. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be at work."

"I have something for you," said Morgan. He showed me my badge. "Hotch made a mistake. We need our greatest field agent back."

"My hero," I said grabbing my badge. "Of course I'll go back to the BAU."

Morgan's POV

"I have a surprise," I said as the curtain open. "I brought the whole team. "Surprise."

"Aw," said Alexis.

"Welcome back," said JJ as her, Prentiss, and Garcia hugged her. "I have to tell you work has been slow."

"How many cases?" asked Alexis.

"Just one," said Garcia showing her the iPad. "That's our unsub"

"I know our unsub," said Alexis.

"Is he here?" I asked. "Look around."

"I don't have to," said Alexis. "I saw him.

"Name," said Rossi.

"Unsub spotted," said Prentiss. I strapped a vest on Alexis. "Gun spotted. EVERYBODY DOWN!"

We got down. "I wish I had a gun," said Alexis as shots were fired.

"I got you covered," I said as I handed her an extra gun. We fired back. "Why are we missing?"

"I don't know," said Alexis rolling over on her stomach. "I got this."

"Don't kill him," I said.

"Do you wanna get shot at?" asked Alexis as she aimed. "Didn't think so." She shot and the unsub went down. Everybody got up. "Reunion relocated to field house." Everybody left. "Okay."

"I love you," said JJ. "Thank you."

Alexis smiled. "You're my hero," said Alexis. "I love you."

"I love you too," I said as I kissed her. "I'll always be here to save you."
