My name is Logan. i am 16 years old girl, (yes Logan can be a girls name) and in year 10 at school in a small little town, next to the sea. I love singing and listening to music. Some of the music i like listening to is by artists like Florence and the Machine, Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, 5 Seconds of Summer and a whole range of music. Most people at school think of me as a nerd, just because i pay attention in class, get all my homework done and because i'm a bit different to everyone.  I don't have my L's yet, which sucks. I ride my bike or use my skateboard to get to places. My brother who taught me how to use a skateboard is awesome. We get along really well. I get along with all his friends too. We tease eachother every now and then but it's all in good fun. One of his friends, Jackson acts kind of weird around me. If i'm anywhwere near him he just goes quiet and won't say a word. He looks at me, but never speaks to me. I have no idea why. I know i'm known as a nerd, but i really don't think that, that is why he ignores me. Maybe he hates me? I don't know why he would. He acts normal around everyone when i'm not there but as soon as he sees me he's quiet. He has only ever spoken to me once or twice. One time, i think it was a Saturday, and i was climbing a tree to have a look at the view.

"What are you doing?" he asked, amused.

I turned in the spot i was sitting to look down at the ground, surprised that someone had seen me up here. The tree was huge, and i didn't think anyone knew about it apart from my brother and me.

"Looking at the view?" It didn't sound convincing.

"You don't seem so sure." He grinned.

"You surprised me. I  didn't think anyone knew about this tree." He looked to his phone.

"I'll see ya round, i gotta go."

"Oh, okay bye."

The other time he spoke to me was just a quick "Are you alright?" after i had slipped and fell over. Even though he never spoke to me apart from those two times, there was something about him that drew me in. So i guess you could say this is my story.
