Chapter 2: "Fish Project"

Now that everything is ready i can let Noah know to bring Max over.

I put my phone down on the bench near where i was sitting. Anything else to do whilst i wait? Oooh! The assignment i can get started on that. I got out of my seat and ran towards my room. And up the stairs two at a time. Yes i'm talking to myself in my brain, no i am not crazy and yes i did say brain instead of mind. Now, where did i put you my friend. You know it would make it a lot easier if you would show yourself right now, so i don't have to waste time looking for you and i can get you finished quickly. Maybe before anyone even gets here. My message tone on my phone went off downstairs. Probablly just Noah saying they're on their way. Now where were we. Ah, here now to start on Chemical Reactions and Equations.

Read through your text books. You will find a diagram. Study the Diagram then give your answers. This assignment is due in two weeks on the 27/03/2014 A test will also be held on this date.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"I'm coming." I left my assignment of my desk and ran down the stairs. I picked my phone up off the bench on the way there. I already had 2 missed calls and 5 messages. The knoccking kept going. 

"Alright alright, i'm coming!" I opened the door to find no other than Jackson. "Um Jackson, hi?"

"I just came to see Emlyn, but if you don't want me here i can go?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Oh no! Sorry, i was just expecting someone else. Come on in, Emlyn is upstairs in his room." I said opening the door further. He stept past me a made his way to my brother's room. I unlocked my phone to see what the messages were about. 

FROM: Noah at 3:52pm

Hey Lo. We're running a bit late. We won't be there for about an hour. See you then :) x

 

FROM: Noah at 3:55pm

Lo, did you get my message?

 

FROM: Noah at 3:56pm

Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo

FROM: Max ;p  at 3:57pm

Hey Lo, do you know what's going on with Noah? he's acting kind of weird right now haha :P

FROM: Mum at 3:58pm

Hey darling, i'm missing you and your brother heaps. I will be home in a week. I hope you have been behaving yourselves. I love you guys heaps. See you soon hun xoxo

I responded to all of them letting Noah know that yes, i got his messages and that it's fine. I texted Max and said i had no idea and messaged my mum back too. I decided that i had a free hour or so, so why not bake a batch or cookies. I went into the kitchen and got all the ingredients out that i would need. I got my headphones off the bench and put them in my phone and put my music on play. I started on the batter whilst listening to my music and started a bit of a dance between mixing ingredients and singing. I was so wrapped up in my singing and dancing and mixing i didn't realise there was anyone in the kitchen with me.

*COUGH*

I turned around to see Jackson standing in the doorframe with a smirk on his face. My face turned bright red, realising i had an audience.

"Oh, don't let me being here stop you from your lovely performance." he chuckled.

"Ha Ha. Very funny." I responded sarcastically.

"Yes it was wasn't it." he grinned at me.

"Um, what are you doing down here anyway?" I asked curious as to why he had left Emlyn to come downstairs.

"I came down to get a drink." he smiled at me.

"Oh, sure be my guest." I said and moved so he could get past me.

"Thanks." Jackson got his drink and then left to go back upstairs. Well if that isn't the most embarrasing thing to ever happen then i don't know what is.
