This is really important, that if you are reading Different, then you read this. If you don't want to then, you don't have to, but i feel that it will be greatly helpful in understanding the very confusing story.
So, yes what happened to Sasha and more specifically what happened to Logan will be made clear soon. Yes, Indira is in fact related to Logan and Emlyn.
Sasha, is in fact Logan and Emlyn's older brother. But... Logan doesn't know about him. Yes he is dead. More will be revealed.
NO, nobody except Logan knows about Indira.
If Indira was born into the Pace family, she would be the eldest.
Indira is currently aged 24 years old, 2 years older than what Sahsa would be, 5 years oler than Emlyn, and 7 years older than Logan.
Logan will soon be 17, and if Sasha was still here he would be 22 years old.
So, Logan doesn't know about her brother or what happened to him or herself. It will be explained in time why she doesn't know of him or that time.
Jackson did know Sasha and it will also be explained why he barely speaks to Logan. It may OR may not be what you expect.
Indira is only known by Logan. More will be explained.
There may also be a few chapters on other characters P.O.V's, like Indira's, Sasha's, Emlyn's and possibly some more of Jackson's to come. Still deciding which will be most important and usefull to use for the story.
I hope this has been slightly helpful. Even so everything will soon make sense.
