The kiss

(Niall's P.O.V)
I was on my way over to Demi's.  I haven't seen her since the incident the other day with Hayley and I'm really starting to miss her.
I picked up a box of chocolates and a vanilla candle for a little treat, I'm planning on asking her out and making it official by the end of the day and Im so excited.

I arrived at Demi's place and knocked on the door tugging at my tie. I'm wearing a tuxedo... only for Demi.

After a couple of minutes still no answer, I knew Demi was home, so why isn't she answering?
I twisted the door knob and it was unlocked so I invited myself in.

I walked down the hall towards Demi's room and she was in bed asleep with Hayley. I quickly took my phone out of my pocket and snapped a photo, I know not to post it because Demi's not ready to tell the world about Hayley yet.

My phone wasn't on silent and the noise from taking the photo woke her up. She had the cutest look on her face, "did you just take a photo?" She said in a raspy voice?
"Yup" I smirked

"Deleted it!"  She groaned and rolled over to her other side and tried to go back to sleep. I put down my gifts and picked her up bridal style. She's really something special.
"Shhh don't wake Hayley, she was up with a nightmare last night" she hushed

"Oh I guess that's why she was sleeping with you then?" I asked

"Yeah" she sounded nervous

"..okay. Well anyway. I got you a little something babe"

"What? Oh you shouldn't have"  she smiled

And I went to kiss her on the lips but she moved and I got her cheek instead. I stared at her with a questioned look

"Are you hungry?" She asked walking into the kitchen

Oh no, what's going on.

"No thanks, I already ate"
I replied

"Oh ok, wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure baby" I smiled

We started watching how to get rid of him in 10 days. Pretty good movie I guess.  Demi looks so gorgeous sitting there cuddled up to me, I kiss the crown of her head then suddenly we heard a loud smashing sound, me and Demi's head snapped to where we heard the noise.

(Hayley's P.O.V)

I woke up without Demi by my side. I wonder where she went. I sat up in bed rubbing my eyes checking the time. It was 5:47pm we haven't really spoken about the kiss either.. I think it was a mistake and Demi wants to forget it and never talk about it ever again. Which breaks my heart so much..

I walk out into the living room to see Demi sitting on the couch with that blonde doosh bag. Niall.

To my right I noticed a beautiful vanilla candle in a glass cup. It was very sweet and looked very expensive. I stood there admiring the candle then looked back over at Demi and Niall. I saw Niall kiss Demi on the head which made me mad. So I picked up that candle he brought for her and smashed it on the ground. Their heads both snapped my way before running over to me.

"Hayley are you ok?!" Demi panicked

"Yes I'm fine" I spat

"What's going on?" Niall asked

"Butt out pandora" I said angry even though I noticed a smirk on Demi's face I was still pissed.

"Why are you angry?" Demi asked "Niall, leave the room for a second please"

"Ok" he coed kissing her again making me even more mad

"Hayley.-"

"No, don't give me your pity! I came out about everything the other night. Including the way I felt about you. And you- ugh" I didn't even know how to finish

"Hayley.... the kiss, I thought-" she started

" well whatever it was you thought.. you were wrong!"

And with that I ran out of the house and took off down the street. I don't know where I thought I was going. I've been here for only a couple months I don't know this place very well.

(Demi's P.O.V)

Hayley ran out The door with tears coming out of her eyes like waterfalls.
"You guys.. kissed?" Niall said making my head turn towards him and away from the door.

"..no, it wasn't like that..." I begged

"Then what was it like?" He asked

"I don't know" I said rubbing my temples about to cry. I picked up my car keys and started heading towards the front door.

"Wait. Where are you going?" He asked

"I've got to go find her" I replied like it was obvious

"She's 18, she can take care of herself she's fine"

I thought about it for a minute.. "no, I need to find her, are you coming with me or not?"
