Kamui Gakupo x Reader

An Invitation

You look around your office and sigh.

It's your very first career and you're working as a bookkeeper for a music shop called Music is Life. On some days, the shop can very busy, which is most of the time.

You are very bored, since your boss and the most of the other employee's left early, you are left with two other co-workers - Gakupo and Kaito.

As you were looking around, you see Gakupo and Kaito walk out of the back door that leads to the store room - where all the items for the store are kept - with their hands piled high with keyboards and music books.

"Oh. Be careful with those you could easily trip. Would you like me to help?" you say, getting up as a gesture that you were conerned.

Kaito placed the books on a bench beside where all the music books were. "I don't think that will be necessary, my kind lady."

"What about Gakupo-san? He's carrying a whole heap of keyboards." you reply, firmly.

"He'll be fine." Kaito says, waving his hand. "He's done worse." he glanced at Gakupo with a smirk. "Once upon a time, when the shop was still gathering employee's -"

"Stop." Gakupo says from across the room.

"Gakupo-kun had to carry a drum set from our hardware store - which is, as you know, a few blocks down - all the way to this store -"

"Kaito?" Gakupo sounded a little bit angry.

"And then about twenty-five music books back."

"Kaito. When I get over there -"

"No you won't." and with that, Kaito walked back into the store room to collect some more books.

"Ignore him. He's a bit like that. He seems to think that it's funny to tease people. He's a pain to work with but he does make progress with his work. Plus, he's a good friend of the boss." Gakupo says, lining up the keyboards.

"I see." you reply. He does seem like a funny guy.

Kaito came out with a whole heap of music books and piled them to the other.

As Kaito ordered the books in the correct places, Gakupo filling places back up with instruments where the others had been before they were sold and you making invoices for other companies that supplied yours.

When Kaito was finished, he said he might leave early so he can spend the night with his girlfriend.

You didn't have a boyfriend. You never really had a good run with boys because they thought you were too weird and liked your work and studying too much.

Kaito waved good bye and departed, leaving you alone with Gakupo.

When he was sure Kaito had left, Gakupo camre up behind you and put his hands on your shoulders, startling you.

"You don't have a boyfriend, do you?" Gakupo asks, in a sly tone.

"No. Why?" you ask, quote concerned.

"I was just wondering if you'd like to come the my house tonight. You know, like a date sort of."

"Ummm. I don't know about this. I don't think it's a good idea."

"Oh, come on. It will be fun." Gakupo went into the staff area and got his bag. "Wear something short." he says when he came back out.

"Why?"

"Because my place gets unusually hot in the night." he runs a hand through his purlpe hair then smiles. "See you at my place." he walks over to your desk and places a card on the table, then walks back to the doorway. "Good bye" Gakupo walks out the music shop and into the street.

"What have I gotten myself into. I can't not turn up beause it would be rude... I guess I have choice but to go." you sigh.
