You check the clock that was in Gakupo's room and thought you should be getting on your way.

"Gakupo-san? I really think it's time I should get going." you lifted a hand and ran it down to side of Gakupo's face, stopping at his cheek.

"Yes. I understand. And please stop calling me Gakupo-san." he replied.

"Yes, Gakupo-kun." you said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Much better." he replied with a smile.

"I love you, Gakupo-kun. I hope you don't have someone else, because I  truly love everything about you."

Gakupo seemed a bit shocked at the fact that you immediately confessed even though he knew it from the beginning. "I love you too. I do have someone, not someone else, for I have you."

You stood up and yawned, stretching.

Gakupo stood up beside you and said, "I'll walk home with you, if you want."

"Yeah, I guess it won't hurt." you said running your hand down Gakupo's smooth shoulder.

"Okay. Let me get a shirt on."

"Sure."

Not long after, you were walking home with Gakupo. The two of you were just chatting along happily. But when you were halfway to your house, you saw some smoke from the same direction.

"G-Gakupo-k-kun? You don't have a feeling that my house is probably on fire?" you asked anxiously, pointing up where the smoke was. You just start to hear sirens in the background.

"I've never been to your house before, let alone seen it. I don't know. But if you think it's your house, we should get a move on."

Both of you started to sprint, Gakupo following after you.

You could feel tears welling up in your eyes, you had a really strong feeling that it was your house.

You picked up your pace a little bit. The sirens had gotten louder, the deafening pitches consuming all other sounds, save for your heavy breathing and you and Gakupo's footsteps.

You turned the corner and slowed down immediately, until you were just standing there... Staring.

You fell onto your knees, put your hands to your face and as you cried, you tried not to choke on your sobs.

The image stilled burned in your mind.

You house was engulfed in raging flames. The beautiful lace curtains that outlined the windows with nothing more than ash. Your mother had weaved those curtains. The elegant front door that your older brother had carved for you was slowly disappearing into the flames. It took him three months to perfect that door. The fine glassware that you younger sister had worked hard on had exploded and shattered under the immense heat. She went all the way to America to receive the training to make those. The furniture your father had made was not in existence anymore. He really loved those. The sculptures your grandfather had made and the paintings your grandmother had worked on had disintegrated into ash. They had made those for you and you always loved to just sit and stare at their beauty...

All those people were no longer alive. Thanks to work, you were unable to go on a trip with them and thanks to work, you were lucky enough miss the car crash. You were the only person who was still alive in your family.

Gakupo kneeled down beside you and rested his hands on your shoulders. "There, there." he said, gently rubbing your shoulders. "Lets go see if the firemen have saved any of your belongings."
