Back inside George is replaying the whole weird scenario in his mind, even as the front door closes and May and her strange new friend get on their way.  This isn't right he thinks to himself, it just isn't the way May would behave.  For one thing she would never bring a stranger unannounced into their home.  Also she seemed very edgy, even though she seemed easy at the same time.

Slipping out through the front door, and closing it silently, he quickly followed them along the high street at a discreet distance.  Suddenly he saw Harry literally pull his sister through the gateway to the small local cemetery that served their small population.  Now he was alarmed.  This is definitely not any kind of route to the hospital.  Slipping through the small gates he immediately could see them almost at a small sheltered garden area with two opposing bench seats and a gravel area between them, and some rhododendrons  proving privacy and shelter around them.  It seemed to him Harry seemed to stop and almost shove his sister onto the seat and then he sat down next to her.

"May " said Harry,  "listen to me and believe me. I am never going to harm you. In fact you are the only one I can hope is my friend.  I am going to be honest with you, I am not Harry.  I truly do not know who I am, I was not lying about that.  I do know I am not the same as you, not even human.  I do not know how I came to be here in this persons body like this.  I also am sorry I hurt you when I joined with your mind.  I really didn't know it would be painful to you and it was my only chance of survival in this, to me, bewildering and confusing world of yours.    Really I am hoping you will agree to help me, willingly.   I can make you but I really don't like doing something that I am aware frightens you immensely."

Staying silent but her mind racing May is processing this unbelievable and impossibly crazy idea in her head.   Thinking back to the first time she met him and the strange incident when she touched him for the first time.  The fact that afterwards he seemed a transformed patient and miraculously improved (not the first time by all accounts that miracles had occurred involving him either).  The other things too, the way he could control her free will and suppress it.  The enormity of what she was caught up in hit her. Her life would never be the same again.  All of her dreams and her goals, all of her hard work to get to where she was, now was worth nothing anymore.  Suddenly overwhelmed May burst into floods of tears.

Back at his vantage point not too far from them, but hidden from their view George couldn't hear what Harry was telling May, but he saw her suddenly break down in tears, and had to stop himself from jumping up and running over to her.  Except that  she didn't appear afraid of Harry and when she broke down he never made any move to touch her, but just sat there looking at her as if waiting on her to say something to him.   Could they be lovers?  Were they running away together? He felt instinctively that he shouldn't reveal himself.  This was not a young man trying to force his sister into something, it seemed almost as if Harry was the one apprehensive to see what his little sister was going to do when she regained her composure.
