When harry got back to their little copse in the cemetery there was no sign of either May or her brother.  The day was pleasant and he felt drained, so he lay back on the wooden bench with his hands clasped behind his neck and relaxed his mind leaving it free to seek some answers.  Not long before dusk and the closing time of the little cemetery the siblings returned.

Harry stirred, and feeling relieved  stood up and greeted them. "Did you sort everything out without arousing too many suspicions do you think?" he asked them.  "Yes" May replied, "I visited my boss at the hospital and told them you were desperate to visit your parents and I was unable to talk you out of it.  They understood I think, but they were annoyed with me for going with you without going through the proper channels. In the end I convinced them and blamed my mistakes on my lack of experience.  I also told my boss that Harry had declared himself fully recovered now and won't return to the hospital. So She discharged him".    Harry was visibly pleased at Mays successful mission and she found herself feeling slightly shy momentarily. " And have you managed to get some time off?"  he asked her.  "I told them that the whole experience has felt so intense that I would appreciate a few days off to sort my head out.  They said I have accrued 3 days and allowed me to take them all now "

"And you George" said Harry, how did you get on?"   George told how he had put their mums minds at ease with a tale he had spun her  (half true at least) of  how Harry's parents had decided he was well enough to leave the hospital now and that they had arranged for him to go to a convalescent complex to speed up his recovery and build him up a bit, but that the hospital had agreed to this only provided  they could send May to accompany him because of his frailty.  On top of this blatant lie George told his mum that May  was not totally comfortable with being alone with a virtual stranger and  had twisted his arm to go with them.  He had also told their mum that the hospital would be paying her normal rates for doing this plus travel expenses. "It's kinda true except she will be paying herself with her own holiday pay". Harry solemnly went over to each of them and silently hugged them.  Both George and May said afterwards to each other that they felt huge emotion that brought them to the brink of tears.

Harry looked at George and myself and he said "Everything is in place now. We have covered our tracks and made everything seem above board to all concerned, It is time now to make our   plans and be on our way, as time is running out.  What this means I have no idea, but it sends a shudder of apprehension down my spine.
